STEEMCHURCH - GOD Is ABLE

When you think, you're sinking low,
When you think, you're all alone in this world,
When you think, your problems are bigger than the world's economy,
When you think, life isn't worth living,
When you think that the devil is winning,
When you think that, that illness will never go away,
And when you think that God is far away.
One thing is certain, God is God and His promise is Yea and Amen!

Yes, I know life can be messy. Sometimes, things aren't just the way we want them. There are so many issues going on that we're hoping on God to help us fix them. Most times, we find it hard to even pray because of these problems, and we find out 80% of the time, we are not happy with all the things happening around us. The truth is that no one is having a fun free life, there is always something to fix but one thing that is so true and genuine is the love of God for His children.

Storms of life will surely come. It's part of who we are and things we must go through in life, but as the popular saying goes "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" when you look at this saying from the Biblical meaning, it simply agrees with the word of God which says "God will not give us that trial that is bigger than us rather will He give us that storm that will consume us." I know trials are inevitable but God's grace to overcome those trials is certain.

As believers of Christ, sometimes, we tend to forget the greatness of God. We belittle His powers over all things then run to other places for help. We're too quick to forget everything that He has done in the past whenever we are faced with challenges although God is not even mad at us whenever we do such things. He is always there waiting for us to return to him with His arms wide open.

The Bible says we should put our trust in Him and not man. There is anything too big for God to do. He created the whole world and everything in it with word of mouth. Isn't that amazing? if God can do all these then what storm can't He control? Truly, there are certain things that we cannot control no matter how hard we try. There are a lot of things beyond our powers. These things can only be controlled by the spiritual and guess who's in charge of the spiritual? God Himself! So, why worry over such things? Why do we spend so much time on stuff like that? We can as well hand them over to the controller general whom I believe loves us very much and wouldn't want any harm to come near us.

Well, someone reading this might say "It's easier said than done" which of course, I agree but I've one assurance. The assurance that I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. The assurance that God has given me the grace to do the right thing even under pressure. I have faith in the word of God which I've taken it upon myself to lean on His word. I am not saying this because my life is perfect, my life is nowhere near perfect, but I believe with God on my side, I am walking towards perfection. And, I also believe, we can all do this together through the help of the Holy Spirit, Amen!
