IS YOUR BEHAVIOUR OR ACTIONS LAWFUL ....FOR IGNORANCE IS COSTLY

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen from steemchurch peace be with you all.

Many are those that do certain things or put up certain actions.....but at the end we need to ask ourselves that is it lawful to do it ...and what will be the outcome.

On daily basis the question of whether a behaviour or an action is lawful or not has remained a repeated question on the lips of Christians . Very often young people ask if it is wrong to do this or that . Is it lawful to dress in a particular way or not..? Is it lawful to seek for help in examination hall...? And many more of such questions.

Christians are not under law but under grace . Yet we are not lawless (Rom.6:15). The Bible is so explicit and plain to what is right to be done by a Christian. Search the Bible daily on every issue to know if it is right or wrong .

Reading John 2:6 will help us adopt in our choices

One thing we must bear in mind is that ignorant is costly. The Pharisees knew that the Messiah would be a descendant of David, but did not understand that He would be more than a human descendant. He would be God in the flesh (Phil.2:6-7,Mt.13-16).

The central issue of life is what we believe about Jesus. Other spiritual activities are irrelevant unless we first believe that Jesus is the Saviour . Do you know Christ as the Saviour ?(Mt. 1:21). How strange to think that teachers of religious law would receive worst punishment. This is because behind their appearance of holiness and respectability they were ignorant, arrogant,crafty,selfish and uncaring. Jesus exposed their evil hearts. He showed that despite their pious words they were neglecting God's laws and doing as they pleased.

Religious deeds do not cancel sin
