STEECHURCH... ..... HELP THE WIDOW AND FATHERLESS
Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, peace be with you all. Today is another great day that the Lord has made. Once again let me thank you for your time.
Today let us discuss how to help and whose responsibility to help the widow and the fatherless.
In our communities and churches we can find widows and fatherless... So those people what as Christians can we do to help them. Let me take you to the Bible and see what the Bible says about that.

When we read the book of Luke 7:11-17,Jesus had compassion on the widow of Nain as Christians we need to emulate His life for He is a perfect example. The Bible also teaches us that GOD cares for the widow and the fatherless. God is a father of the fatherless and a defender of widows (Psalm 68:5). They are under His care and protection (Proverbs 15-25).

God's blesses those who help and honour them (Jeremiah 7:6-7) for this reasons, today I edge all #steemchurch parishioners to always extend their helping hands to the widow and the fatherless to have the blessings that God is promising us. God always is against those who take advantage of or hurt them (Zachariah 7:10).
God's tender love and compassion are on them (Luke 7:11-17). When we read the Bible we can see that the early churches cared for the widow and the fatherless (Acts 6:1-6). James said,an aspect of true faith in Christ is to look after the fatherless and visit the windows in their affliction (James 1:27). How will you show love for a widow or orphan you know...?

"Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy."
Let us show mercy for the Lord to show us mercy, let us show them love for our Lord to show us love, for the Lord said service to man is service to God.

The blessings God bestows on us is that we might be a blessing to others. We are meant to be channels and not reservoir. Jesus said: ..the poor and needy will always be with you...

A true Christianity is not just about praying, singing and paying tithes to God but helping the widows and the orphans. By showing love to the vulnerable we let people see that indeed God is love. Thanks for this message @bigssam
