STEECHURCH..... OFFERING THAT IS ACCEPTED BY GOD

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, peace be with you all. This another day that the Lord has made. Join me and let us thank the Lord for the Lives he has given us.

Always people wonder what type of offering that has to made to God. Today we will look at it for you to clarify your mind.

When we read Leviticus 1:10-17, the Bible reveals that not all offerings are acceptable by GOD most especially, if such gifts have some defects. Efforts should therefore be made to offer acceptable gifts and offerings at the place where God is worshipped in spirit and in truth. One of the reasons why Jesus offerings of Himself to God is acceptable is because He (Jesus) is holy and pure.

We have to be accepted before our offerings are accepted. Jesus was made sin for us that in Him we might be made righteous and acceptable to God, 2 Corinthians 5:21. Have you received Jesus into your life.....?

According to the Bible there are various types of offerings

1. Trespass - offering (it is most holy.)

2. Sin - offering (As is the sin-offering, so is the trespass-offering; there is one law for them: the priest that maketh atonement therewith, he shall have it.)

3. Burnt - offering (And the priest that offereth any man’s burnt-offering, even the priest shall have to himself the skin of the burnt-offering which he hath offered.)

4. Meal - offering ( that is baken in the oven, and all that is dressed in the frying-pan, and on the baking-pan, shall be the priest’s that offereth it.)

5. Meal - offering (And every meal-offering, mingled with oil, or dry, shall all the sons of Aaron have, one as well as another.)

6. Peace - offering (And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace-offerings, which one shall offer unto Jehovah.)

7. Peace - offering (And of it he shall offer one out of each oblation for a heave-offering unto Jehovah; it shall be the priest’s that sprinkleth the blood of the peace-offerings.)

   What does this tell you about God..? God wants me to always be in sweet communion with Him. The various offerings are to ensure that man is in true with God without any barrier between them. Are you feeling guilty about an area of your life...?

Is there any sin that is problematic to you...? You can ask God for forgiveness today. You only need to appreciate the victory secured for us at the cross. God expects that you should offer yourself to Him as a living sacrifice, holy and pure, to be used for His glory and praise (Romans 12:1)
