WHAT RELATIONSHIP EXIST BETWEEN YOU AND GOD

Hello parishioners of steemchurch, i greet you all

Constantly many Christians complain about God been mute about the request but forgotten to ask themselves, what relationship exit between them and their Maker ..?

We can learn something from Solomon in the book of 1Kings 9:1-14, God appeared to Solomon reminding him of his promises with him. The promise he made was on one condition, If he will be obedience to God's commandments

The book of Amos tell us that " Can two people walk together unless they agree?. This is very practical in our relationship with God. As a Christians we can enjoy His good plans he has for us only if we follow his way of life. By remaining faithful to his word, he too has promised to stay to his part of his covenant. But punishment will be fall us if we turn away and rebel against his commands.

Solomon a man that considered to be the wisest person allowed himself to fall from the grace of God.

1 Kings 11:9-10
"The LORD became angry with Solomon because his heart had turned away from the LORD, the God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice.
Although he had forbidden Solomon to follow other gods, Solomon did not keep the LORD'S command."

What happened to Solomon tells us that no one is too smart to fall from his Grace . if it happened to Solomon , then will need to watch out for us not to also fall from the Grace of God.
