Absence of Forgiveness and consequences.
In the Gospel of Matthew we read what was the reward for the servant who, after a great debt was forgiven, did not grant grace to his debtor: he was delivered into the hands of the torturers.
Matthew 18: 25-34.
25 But when he had nothing to pay, his lord ordered that they should sell him, together with his wife and children and all that he possessed, and thus repay the debt. 26 Then the servant fell prostrate before him, saying, Be patient with me and I will repay everything. 27 And the lord of that servant had compassion, released him and forgave him the debt. 28 But when that servant came out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him 100 denarii (a salary of 100 days), and by seizing him he choked him, saying: Pay what you owe. 29 Then his servant, falling at his feet, begged him: Be patient with me and I will pay you. 30 However, he did not want to, but went and put him in jail until he paid what he owed. 31 So when his fellow servants saw what had happened, they were very sad, and went and told their lord all that had happened. 32 Then, calling for the servant, his lord said to him, Wicked servant, I forgave you all that debt because you begged me. 33 Should not you also have felt sorry for your fellow servant, just as I felt sorry for you? 34 And his lord was enraged, he delivered him to the executioners until he paid all that he owed him.
In our lives there are some executioners and we have to examine ourselves and see if we have to bite our tongues so as not to commit sin, speaking ill of others, and if we have to start seeing others as God sees them.
Perhaps we have not fully understood the sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross for all of us, where he forgave all without deserving it. If we have not understood how important forgiveness is, we give the devastator a chance to make his own.
In that case, we must realize the culture of heaven and forgive. We can be sure that God will not abandon us even if we sin, but we must take into account a secondary problem: with sin and with the lack of forgiveness.
When there is no forgiveness, the torturers appear, who are authorized to destroy us. They DO NOT allow negative situations to cease. Some pray for years without seeing the situation they are in, changing. Which is the reason? Maybe they need to apologize or forgive, maybe they have to forgive themselves, maybe they have to learn to love and accept the people around them and they need repentance.
The Lord is ready to make us triumph, to free us from the bondage of sin and to recover family, health and finances, but he needs our obedience.
Matthew 18: 21-22
21 Then approaching Peter, he asked Jesus: "Lord, how many times will my brother sin against me that I will forgive him? Up to seven times? "22 Jesus answered:" I do not tell you up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.
If we obey, we will not be deprived of our material, emotional, spiritual and relational goods, because Christ has freed us from the world. The best things belong to His children and, if we practice forgiveness, it will bring a powerful awakening in our home, it will heal the economy of our home, it will give us everything the world can not give us and we will fill our home with all the joy and happiness that only Christ can give us.
Good reflection @ blessed-girl the lack of forgiveness in the Christian is very dangerous because by grace we have received the forgiveness of God since we were not worthy of being forgiven and that grace also we must share it with others
When we refuse to forgive we are depriving our lives of the divine fullness that God wants for us and we miss their blessings
When we do not forgive we act like the servant of the parable.

That's right ... it's one of the most used stories when talking about the lack of forgiveness ... he was forgiven, but he did not forgive ...
I even wanted to put the first quote you mentioned when you started your message, frames 11.25-26 ... I remembered what the text says more or less but I did not remember the exact quote in the bible, I thought it was in Matthew and I looked for all Matthew hahaha ... The two publications would have remained same...
