Be prudent every day of your life...

It is strange to see people who despite the warnings do not take into account the consequences of their actions and unfortunately end badly. But it is something that is written in the bible, that's why today I was thinking about this verse...

Proverbs 27:12

The prudent man sees the evil and hides, The imprudent goes on and pays the consequences.

Last weekend we had the sad news of the death of a friend's boyfriend. It was a story that impressed me a lot, because he was a young boy, I was only 23 years old.

Here in Venezuela, even alcoholic drinks are very expensive, and people improvise making homemade liquors and unfortunately many young people have died due to those homemade drinks. Currently there is a drink called "COCUY de penca". Already several deaths have been recorded by ingesting that drink, have been reported both on television and in newspapers and the internet, there they have given the news.

I think this is something that should call for reflection, because young people seem to not care about anything and follow their wishes and vices

Our friend's boyfriend was drinking with some friends on Friday, the famous drink "COCUY de penca", and then he went home. The next day, he was dead in his bed. How sad that a boy who is starting his life has to die so young and more so for being imprudent.

This is the same as people who smoke, Here so many campaigns are made about the consequences that cigarette use brings, even here in Venezuela, cigar boxes have a warning on the back, reporting that cigarette smoking causes cancer and other consequences that smoking brings, but this is not enough for people who smoke, they continue to poison their bodies even with the box in their hands, seeing those images that it brings.

I do not understand how a person can not care about their life, and can not think before doing things that can mark their lives forever or simply take their lives.

Very clear is written in the previous verse... "The imprudent goes on and pays the consequences."

Consequences that unfortunately, in these cases, cost them their lives.

Prudence is so necessary for life, that many overlook it, or simply do not listen to it, ignore it and even hate it.

Proverbs 8:12

I, wisdom, habituate with prudence, and have found knowledge and discretion.

Prudence goes hand in hand with wisdom, if you really want to have a long life you seek wisdom and prudence. I can assure you that you will be able to reach an old age without regrets.

Proverbs 14:15

The unwise believes everything, but the wise one looks well at his steps.
