Forgiven by his blood.

The apostle Paul stated that he was only interested in knowing Christ and the crucified Christ, why? Surely we have not yet fully understood the value of Jesus' death on the cross.

Our sins, our faults, our accusations, everything that was negative in us and that Christ took upon himself, died on that cross. We would have deserved that death, but the wrath of God has been unloaded upon Him and He has been killed in our place.

On that cross, our old nature has been nailed and thanks to that cross, by virtue of the shed blood of Him, we have been purified and regenerated. If the Church were truly aware of this truth, all believers would live free from all guilt and fear.

Exodus 12: 7

Then they will take a little blood and smear it on the two poles and on the lintel of the door of the house where they eat the lamb.

In this verse it is spoken of the blood scattered on the lintels of the doors. That blood represents the power of forgiveness and redemption. Without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness and we need so much to understand the power that is in the blood of Jesus.

The blood of the Lamb of God has made us righteous, has washed all our faults and every time we turn to him we find forgiveness and hope. The blood spilled on the lintels of the doors tells us about the grace and the need to extend it to all the members of our house.

Nor did we deserve anything, but by virtue of that blood that washes and purifies our sins, we have been saved. However, sometimes, instead of using grace, we use words of judgment, and each trial involves a sentence.

We can evaluate the wrong actions, not the people. We can say that a certain way of acting is wrong and stupid, but we can not tell the person who has done it that he is a fool. We can say that this action has offended us, but not to make judgments about the person who did it, because condemning and not forgiving entails condemnation and destruction.

What is our way of seeing people in our home? Do we see how the enemy shows us or how does God see them?

If we apply the blood of Jesus on the lintels of our hearts, we will see them as God sees them. In Egypt the angel of death did not enter where he saw the blood. This tells us that where there is no blood, there is no forgiveness, there is a distorted image of loved ones and the consequence is the death of the relationship, which will no longer be the same as before.

In the blood of Jesus there is forgiveness and if we spread it in our hearts it helps us to forgive, but if we do not change the way we see people in our house, the Lord will not be able to do anything.

Hebrews 9:22.

And according to the law, almost all things are purified with blood; and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.

Jesus shed his blood to take away our sins and forgive us. If in our house there are difficult situations, misunderstandings and tensions, let us remember the power of the blood of Jesus, spread it in our relationships with our relatives, let us speak words of thanks and blessing, pray, intercede, then we will see the miracle! Jesus has made us worthy and wants all the members of our house to be worthy.

Jesus never uttered words of condemnation, but only words of faith. Let's begin to visualize all that Jesus has done and He will do in our house!
