What to do on the bad day?

In these days when the economy falls, the things do not go as you planned, many times you do not know what to do. It is easy to despair, but when we search the scriptures, we can take examples that will help us face those bad days. For example Joshua, is one of those characters that teaches us the attitude we should take in those days.

Joshua 7: 6.

6 Then Joshua tore his clothes and fell to the earth on his face before the ark of the Lord until the evening, he and the elders of Israel. And they put dust on their heads.

Do what Joshua did. Go to God and wait on him. In the middle of the problem Joshua took refuge in God. When in your difficult days you go to God, he will give you the way out. In the presence of God everything has a solution. When you don't know what to do you should go to God. He who comes to the presence of God will have a secure solution. Joshua went to God, fell down, humbled himself and waited.

There are people who don't know how to wait, they get desperate and don't let God do what they should do. God knows all things, and knows when he will give the solution.

If you know how to wait on God your answer will come. In the afternoon God spoke to Joshua and told him what the problem was and the solution. Many times we do not understand how important it is to wait, be patient and wait in silence. Even if you don't know what to do, God does know what to do and if you know how to wait on Him, He will guide you.

Psalm 40: 1-3.

1 I waited patiently for the Lord;
I have inclined to me and heard my cry.
2 He drew me up from the pit of destruction,
out of the miry bog,
and set my feet upon a rock,
making my steps secure.
3 I put a new song in my mouth,
a song of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear,
and put their trust in the Lord.

In the middle of the crisis do not go to the weak arm, you must go to the strong arm. You must understand that you are not alone, God is there at all times and is watching over you. Even if we don't see him, God is there because he takes care of his people.

Matthew 28:20

20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. ”

Although no one supports you here on earth, you have God in heaven who is all powerful.

Psalm 73: 25-26.

25 Whom have I in heaven but you?
And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you.
26 My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Let us also bear in mind that the good things we do on the good day will help us on the bad day. Every time you help someone who has a bad day, you accumulate credit for yourself.

Proverbs 11: 24-25.

24 One gives freely, yet grows all the richer;
another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want.
25 Whoever brings blessing will be enriched,
and one who waters will himself be watered.

So on good days, don't forget to reach out and help those in need.

Proverbs 19:17.

17 Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord,
and he will repay him for his deed.
