Those who thirst and yearns for more of God and His ways always have there fill, filled with the Holy Spirit, filled with signs and wonders, those who ever met Him has there face shown Exo. 34:30. They carry miracles and the testament of God everywhere they go.
The hunger for God can do a lot in the life of a Christian, the hunger is our escort, the price we have to pay to show heaven how serious we are to getting filled with God. The hunger leads to so many things.
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Matthew:5:6
The filling of the Holy Spirit comes from the thirst and hunger for it. The disciples were commanded to wait on the Holy spirit, hunger and thirst for Him in prayer because it is those who are filled with the power of God that can carry His testament to all nations. The disciples did in Act 2: 1. The result? Filling of the Holy Ghost.
But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
John:4:14
The hunger leads to blessings, as seen in the above passage, when you hunger and gets filled, out of you shall flows the Living waters, who is this Living Water? Jesus Christ. Those who seek the presence of God either through prayer or study of the word have been known never to lack anything. They are always in abundance of both earthly and spiritual blessings.
Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
Jeremiah:33:3
Here, God is saying hunger and thirst after me, search for me, study my word, be in close communion of prayer to me, and I will show you great and mighty things which you don't know. Hunger brings revelation, visions, directions. Those who hunger and thirst for ages never lack direction, they are always on track with Life and never loose purpose. Because when purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable.
