A Dead End

Beloved parishioners of SteemChurch blessings until they abound for all, you have certainly faced some difficult situation that you considered to be "in a dead end".

These "dead ends" are part of our life. Maybe you are living a situation like that and God speaks in your heart and reveal strategies to get you out of that "blind alley".

Moses, along with the Hebrew people, was in a real dead end when he left Egypt and God performed a great miracle that was the opening of the Red Sea and the people crossed the sea on dry foot. God opened an exit in that dead end street. That is our God!

1- Do not be afraid

With the approach of the powerful Egyptian army, that crowd of almost 2 million slaves was terrified, was very afraid, because they saw no way out and the human eyes really had no way out, they were really "in a dead end". But being afraid did not laugh to help them in anything, on the contrary, fear blocks our mind and prevents us from thinking, seeing a way out and acting with balance and sanity.

We need to substitute fear for trust in God, for faith in a God who can do all things! The fearful do not conquer absolutely anything, they do not see themselves conquering the challenges of life and they are always giving up and fleeing from the struggles. God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and courage (2 Timothy 1: 7). When we give our lives to the Lord, He goes on to fight our struggles and opens up exits in dead ends. Give your life to Jesus and do not be afraid of anything, because He takes care of His children!

2- Cry out to God

The flight from Egyptian captivity was the result of a divine intervention in the life of that people who had cried out to the Lord for his mercy, God heard their cry and descended to deliver them (Exod. 3: 7-8). God hears our cry, even though we are in the deepest abyss, even though we have disobeyed the Lord, he hears our cry, forgives us and saves us. Jonah cried out and God heard (Jonah 2). I invite you now to cry out to the Lord for the solution of his most afflictive problems, asking for forgiveness of his sins (1 John 9) and his salvation in Christ Jesus.

3- Go ahead

Moses receives a divine order to place the people of God on the march, even though they were in a dead end, even if the sea had not been opened, although the problems were not solved.

Many stand before the problems and challenges of life and lament, crying, seeking to transfer the guilt of their defeats to the world, family, friends, enemies, their own luck or even God. As soon as they lament, they can not elaborate strategies for victory, they can not hear the voice of God: keep going! Marchem for victory! I am with you! I'm going to open the sea!

When we face our problems, whatever they may be, remember not to be afraid, cry out to God and move on. You who are in a dead end, need God to open a way out in your life? Then give your life to Him and we will pray, we will cry with faith for that miracle to happen.

Trusting in God is one of the greatest needs of the human being in these days. In an extremely stressful and insecure world, putting trust in the Lord is much more than symbolism, it is a real and urgent need.
