INTRODUCTION
Marriage as an institution ordained by God and almost everyone would like to identify with it. The marriage institution can be likened to an institution of higher learning where a lot of students desire and struggle to enter and at the same time have to contend with a lot of challenges in order to scale through. Many succeed to enter but drop out before graduation either because they were not really prepared for the challenges they were to encounter in the course of studies or they just decided to reject or otherwise cancels. the same is true about marriage. Many desire and go all out to get married only to rush out with in months or years completely bruised, battered, and devastated. why must that be? Because most did not seek counsel concerning this journey they had never been through before.

Men in marry for different reasons. Song marry for beauty, song for fame, some marry for money while some marry because every of their age mates or friends are getting married and they do not want to be left out.

Marriage is beyond this. Marriage is a lifelong relationship that should only be broken by death alone if things are well done. If you marry because of beauty, money or fame what do you do when these things are no longer there? Stop and ponder on this.

DEFINITION OF MARRIAGE
marriage inmate definition is an institution ordained and sanctified by God so herbal and kita for the union of two hearts ( male and female) coming together to become one spirit. As the bible puts it, in marriage, the persons shall no longer be as two but as one flesh.

As much as marriage is a gift from god to mankind, we also have a role to play in making it a heaven on earth. But many these days find it difficult to wait on god to guide them in choosing their life partner as he did for adam and eve. Nonetheless, god still respect the choices we make but he expect us to choose right.

After God had created the first man (Adam).
God saw the loneliness of adam's life. The other creatures look so different from him. God therefore decided that it was not be good for man to be alone. I will make for him a help meet genesis 2:18.
help meet that is an assistant suitable for a particular purpose full stop this is to say that wife is meant to be an assistant to her husband and not just the other partner probably for procreation purpose.

God personally called the woman a help meet because he knew that man would need someone just like you to feel that loneliness within his heart. Someone to comfort and to be by his side during the storm and challenges of life. Someone closer than a brother or a sister. That is the reason for the creation of woman and I believe this is the reason why Adam on waking from a sleep and seeing the woman screamed with excitement. "oh this is now the bone of my bone and the flesh of my flesh genesis 2:23". Showing that woman is complete heart of man.

And since woman is a part of man, man would always need a woman by his side consciously or otherwise and this can easily be summed up by saying that any man up the marriageable age, but still single due to one reason or the other, will never feel complete because part of him (ribs, bones, and flesh) are still missing and until he finds the better half, remains incomplete. That's vacuum will completely exist. in the other hand too, a woman will always need the support of a man to be complete because part of the man are in her yearnings for the man. By this God had clearly revealed that man and woman would always be indispensable to each other.
