When God Says YES

One of the saddest stories in the Bible is about the man who had an infirmity or was ill for thirty eight years.

When he recounted his experiences to Jesus, He narrated how life has been very unbearable and cruel to him in those miserable years.

He said he had no one to help him and has been lying there for thirty eight years, and those that were more fitter than him always take the lead and rush to the healing pool to be healed.

Family and friends have all left him alone and if it hadn't been for Jesus he would have died in his illness.

Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches. In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had. And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath. The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed. He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk. John 5:2-11

Jesus realizing that he has been there for a very long time visited him and with just a simple statement "Rise, take up thy bed and walk" the man was made whole and got up.

Even when people were suppose to be happy for this man they were rather offended that was healed on a Sabbath day.

The Jews still wanted him to lie on the mat of affliction even when the master physician and saviour has said "YES" it is time for him to get up.

God is the only one who has the final say. If God says yes nobody can say no and when He says no, nobody can say yes.

The Creator of the universe has the final say and no one can challenge his decision. Nobody can dare Him and question Him for He is the self existing God, the I AM THAT I AM.

Let people say what they want to say and it shall not stand, let them gather and take counsel together and it shall not come to pass, let them try to prevent you from reaching your breakthrough and they will never succeed.

What matters most is what God says, for when He speaks no one can challenge Him. We must hear what God says concerning any situation through the voice of His spirit that resides in us and also his promises in His word.

If the doctor says there is no way you are going to be healed let him understand that you already been healed by his strips. Speak God's word to counter any negativity from man, for when His word says yes then it is indeed yes...
