THAT POWER IN THE WORD

THE WORD OF GOD;
According to John Chapter 1:1-5 says "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and Word was God.
V4 In Him was life; and the life was the light of men. This implies that Jesus Christ our saviour is the true Word of God. As He is still illustrated in the Bible in the book of Hebrews 4:12 as living, powerful, and shaper than the two-edged sword.
HOW THE POWER OF THE WORD MANIFESTS WHEN WE SPEAK IT OUT

1. The Word creates and establishes
   Genesis 1 the Bible shows that God created all things seen by His Word and by His Word they were able to be established permanently by the power that works in His word.

2. The Word of God has power ; that is the power to bring down all strong holds exalted against His children as its illustrated in Luke 9:1.

3. The Word of God gives authority and validity (legitimacy)
   The Word of gives us rights to do and undo things back to ordained will of God when we speak it out like right to be full chlidren of God John 1:12, right to loose and bind Luke 18:18 and titles as shown in Psalms 82:6.
   When we speak the Word;

• We speak as God. (Exodus 4:16, 7:1)
• We acknowledge His existence
• The Word keeps us in the presence of God
• We are calling down God's glory and power that restores back those things that had died in us back to life.

1. The word gives strength and hope
   Haggai 2:20-22 The word of God once received by a believer has the ability to restrength and repair a broken soul upon believing in it bringing hope in that soul that God will make a change tomorrow.
   

2. Brings victory over the devil
   The Word of God is a number one weapon used to defeat the devil and his devices was its used out as its shown in Revelation 12:11, Luke 8:4, Ephesians 6

3. The Word of God gives life
   in John 6:63 Jesus said that Words He was teaching was Spirit and that its the spirit that gives life the fresh profits nothing, its only in the Word of God where there life and life in abundance as He is the way, true and life.

4. The Word rebukes, instructs and displines.
   The Word of God rebukes on several practices of ungodliness that are practiced in His church and instructs on how the right things should be done and implemented once the evil ones are left thus enhancing displine in the believers.

STATES WHERE THE WORD OF GOD DOES MANIFEST EVEN THOUGH SPOKEN OUT

• When we ignore/through away the word of God; especially with a un believing and doubtful heart to His Word. Mark 4:4

• If we dwell with unbroken hearts towards His word. Mark 4:5

• When we don't keep record of His word.

• When receive His Word from wrong places/wrong sources

• Sharing His Word with wrong people as shown in 1king 13

• Out rightly rejecting of the Word of God.

• When your unrighteous that is improper standing with God

STEPS TO TAKE FOR POWER OF THE WORD TO MANIFEST

1. Read, study and meditate upon the Word of God regularly. Joshua 1:18
   

2. Calling for the spiritual baptism of the Holy Spirit. Acts 1:18
   This is the anointing of the inner man making him ready to take in and comprehend the Word of God yet to receive.

3. Confession and repentance.
   Exodus 30:20-21, 30:30-32
