In biblical stories for children, we will share the story about "People make the big tower" after many years, the children of Noah had many children and these, in turn, many children, so soon there were many people on Earth.

Many years passed. The sons of Noah had many children. And their children grew up and had more children. Soon there were many people on earth.

One of these people was a great-grandson of Noah named Nemrod. It was bad and it hunted and killed animals and men. Nemrod also became king to rule other people. God did not like Nemrod.

All the people of that time spoke only one language. Nemrod wanted to keep them together to be able to govern them. Do you know what he did? He told them to make a city and a big tower in it.

Jehovah God did not like the city or the tower.

God wanted people to go and live throughout the Earth. But they said: "Come, let's make a city and a tower so high that its upper reaches the heavens, then we will be famous!" They wanted honor for themselves, not for God.

That's why God made people stop making the tower.

God made people suddenly speak different languages, instead of just one. They did not understand each other anymore. That's why his city came to be called Babel or Babylon, which means "confusion."
