BIBLICAL MODEL FOR THE GROWTH OF STEEMCHURCH

Acts 2: 38-47

From the moment the church was established, of which you and I are an active part, the purpose of God has been its growth. It is the means through which the kingdom extends. The beginning of the growth of the church is the understanding of what Jesus said "... and on this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it "(Matthew 16:18). Paul confirmed that the church has its foundation in Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 3:11). Jesus Christ is also the head of the church (Ephesians 1: 18-23) and the life of the church (John 10:10). Having said this, it must be remembered that "growth" can be a relative term. There are different kinds of growth, some of which have nothing to do with numbers.
A church can be alive and growing, even when the number of its members does not change. If those who are in the church are growing in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus, subjecting their lives to their will, both individually and collectively, that is a church that is experiencing true growth.
The example of a living and growing church is found in Acts 2: 42-47, where it is stated that the believers "... persevered in the doctrine of the apostles, in communion with one another, in the breaking of bread and in the prayers". Then he says that they helped each other, and reached those who needed to know the Lord, so the Lord "added to the church every day those who were to be saved." When these things are present, the church will experience spiritual growth, whether or not there is a numerical increase
ACTS 2: 42-47 provides us with a wonderful model of a well-balanced program to be practiced today by Steemchurch.

  1. Instruction. The word doctrine literally means "teaching." For Christians to learn and grow they have to be taught. Good teaching is a very essential element of the ministry of the church. The believers in Christ came to be a new community. It is said that they "persevered". One of the things in which they persevered was in the doctrine of the apostles. All revival whose results have been successful have been based on a strong application of biblical doctrine. What we believe will influence our way of acting.

  2. Adoration Learning more about God necessarily leads us to a much closer relationship with Him. True worship is a very important part of our experience with the Lord. When we surrender our life to God in adoration, we will often see his glory and every project has victory assured. He seeks worshipers who adore him in spirit and truth. Praise, communion and worship seem much easier when the holy spirit is flooding the hearts of the worshipers. God called a people to become a nation that honors His name, and that people are all of us who have received that call.

  1. Service. A more intimate relationship with the Lord necessarily leads believers to feel concern and love for others. Every received spiritual blessing demands a means of expression towards others. The Bible tells us that the new Christian community was distinguished by the unity that was observed among its members, and persevered in the breaking of bread, sharing food, in addition to fulfilling the mission of service with one another.

  2. Communion Our common experience in the Lord serves as the basis for a close communion with other Christians. A well-balanced ecclesiastical program will include everything necessary to satisfy our demand for Christian fellowship. Unity is an expression given by God to persevere in bonds of brotherhood in constant communion with the word.

  3. Evangelism A church that is learning, worshiping, serving and in communion with one another will also be a church with numerical growth. God will do what is on his side so that new believers will be added to the church every day. But for that to happen we have to fight for the church to develop a balanced program of service to God and neighbor. The best preaching is what you do with the facts. The first Christians not only preached the good news of salvation, but lived the gospel.

  4. The prayer. It is the foundation to grow, a church without prayer, it will be a defeated church, but a church that prays will be a church of victory. The bible tells us that when the first believers gathered to pray, the holy spirit had broken into the place where they were praying and had filled them all. The crowd wondered what was happening there. It was the manifestation of God's power!

Beloved brothers and friends to practice these principles that are essential in the Christian community. What should be the hallmarks of Steemchurch and its members? - Love of God and service to others. The first Christians gave primary importance to two activities: prayer and the worship of God. You can also discover in them a deep and sincere concern for the needs of others.

These same qualities must exist in our lives and in the church today. Let us ask the holy spirit to do in our lives what he did in the life of the members of the early church.

Sort:

Church growth is something that interests everybody & that is when a church grows everybody stands to win from the church growing.
There’s nothing wrong learning what works as long as we don’t ignore the One who makes everything work!
This is where most church growth books today are missing the mark!
If we want to experience church growth then we need to have in our church the only One that can make it grow – Jesus!
Our text tells us that it was ‘the Lord’ who was adding souls to the church.
And the Lord added to the church ……
This tells us something very simple yet vitally impt to a growing church – Jesus is the one who adds souls to the church!
When we look at the book of Acts we see right from the very first verse the real power behind the building of the church.

Amen dear apostle @ darlenys01

He seeks worshipers who adore him in spirit and truth.

even more in these difficult times, that the world is in its crimes and pleasures, we as part of the body of Christ must yearn to have each of those qualities you named in the post. so that we can stand firm by raising the banner of Christ, as members of @steemchurch the world must know that we are different, that they see in us the radiance of Christ. God Bless You !!!

Excellent theme @ darlenys01
Finally, the description of a living and growing church is found in Acts 2: 42-47, where it is stated that the believers "... persevered in the doctrine of the apostles, in communion with one another, in the breaking of bread and in prayers. "Then he says that they helped one another, and reached those who needed to know the Lord, so the Lord" added to the church every day those who were to be saved. "When these things are present, The church will experience spiritual growth, whether or not there is a numerical increase.

based on this teaching, we should all ask, i'm doing to contribute to the Church of Christ. I think we are in an hour decisive my dear @darlenys01 we are living and @steemchurch has advanced and we are the waiting for continue to expand with parishioners not the Amen for money but by achieve cross of Liberty worldwide.

In order for Christ to be the center of our church and grow, we must begin to value what He values and thus live as He lives. If we are going to live as the body of Christ, we must identify the values that characterize the heart of God and make them our values as a church. The reality of our churches and their growth is based on the way each Christian lives the values of God.

Hello Darlenys01 I am fans of your messages and the project you have undertaken with my beloved Venezuela .. God bless you and also to the SteemChurch.

I have maintained the position that the church (body of Christ) needed to grow out and in at the same time. Outward as in physical numbers and inward as in spiritual growth by living Christ-like lives.

Salmos 66:4

Superb subject @ darlenys01

At last, the portrayal of a living and developing church is found in Acts 2: 42-47, where it is expressed that the devotees "... endured in the teaching of the missionaries, in fellowship with each other, in the fellowshipping and in petitions. "At that point he says that they helped each other, and achieved the individuals who had to know the Lord, so the Lord" added to the congregation consistently the individuals who were to be spared. "At the point when these things are available, The congregation will encounter profound development, regardless of whether there is a numerical increment.

With the goal for Christ to be the focal point of our congregation and develop, we should start to esteem what He esteems and consequently live as He lives. In the event that we will live as the group of Christ, we should distinguish the qualities that describe the core of God and make them our qualities as a congregation. The truth of our holy places and their development depends in transit every Christian lives the estimations of God.

in light of this educating, we should all ask, i'm doing to add to the Church of Christ. I think we are in a hour unequivocal my dear @darlenys01 we are living and @steemchurch has progressed and we are the sitting tight for keep on expanding with parishioners not the Amen for cash but rather by accomplish cross of Liberty around the world.

This is amazing, I can not wait for the day of that blessed event. God bless you dearly my dear brothers. We go from victory to victory.
