The road to freedom / awakening the brave

in #steemchurch6 years ago (edited)

Courage is associated with heroism, gallantry and courage. When a person is brave, he manages to overcome his fears or doubts and acts decisively and firmly.

Several Hebrew words are translated as "brave" in the OT. One of them, gibbor, alludes to a strong warrior, bold and fearless in battle. It is used a lot to designate military heroes. The term used in the admonition to Joshua ("Be strong and courageous" [Jos 1: 6]) has the meaning of "being strong," or "being strong." The v. it was highly prized as the quality of every man, especially in war, just as cowardice was despised.

In the NT, the word brave is not used. In ancient Spanish versions it appeared, but the meaning is clearer when translating, as RV60 does, as "strong" (Luke 11: 21-22).

To be brave is to maintain order in things, to be courageous is to act even though we may feel fear, it is to persevere in any circumstances.

The brave ones of the kingdom, are those who trust in the word given by God and walk in it, in these days of crisis, of waiting, perhaps some of us have felt discouraged, with doubts and we will think that if we could have hope in the middle of a world full of affliction.

I think we all go through those moments of uncertainty, we as Venezuelans can not deny the reality that surrounds us, when we see every day the deterioration of our society, hunger, poverty, poverty, family separation, but we should know that on that situation there is one that surpasses all understanding and that always his mercy will reach us if we are brave and we put our trust in him.

We can meditate on the lives of many people before arriving here, perhaps their situation was different and changed, in a sudden of God. That same God is still here, and is forming and awakening his brave ones for the next battles.

I know many would ask: will I be a brave? When God calls us brave, a warrior does not do it because of how we dress, or where we live, that we have, of course not. When the Lord calls us courageous, it is because he has seen our heart.
Word came from God, and he took me to the following verse:

The Bible says in 1 Samuel 22: 1-2

"And David departed from there, fled to the cave of Adullam, and when his brothers and all his father's house heard it, they came to him." And all the afflicted and all who were in debt joined him, and all those who were in bitterness of spirit, and was made chief of them, and had with him about four hundred men. "

I imagine that @Sirknight last year when he decided to form @steemChurch he did it thinking about people who had some need and that he could do something for them. But God takes our longings beyond what we imagine, when he arrived here he started living from a more intimately the need of a people, little by little that was filling his heart with more desire to help and when he realized, then he was like David in a cave, with people who came here for any reason: debt, affliction, bitterness of soul, or that they were simply unhappy, or thirsty for the word of God.

The name "ADULAM" was taken from the first book of Samuel chapter 22. The Hebrew word comes from a Semitic root meaning "to turn away". In the history of 1 Samuel 22, ADULAM refers to a region where there is a cave, which is characterized as "cave of refuge, closed winepress, city of rest".

As in Adulam's cave, what happened in @steemchurch?

Those people afflicted, in crisis, in debt, with bitterness of soul, disappointed found in @sirknight a disinterested support, a noble heart that was concerned to make feel good to those who came for some reason to this community. I also imagine, that @sirknight like every human being, also faces difficulties, and to complete now come to the many people with worse problems! What kind of spirit could you receive from them? indebted who only think that they have lost everything. Afligidos whose heart no longer finds reasons to move forward, that maybe they just want compassion. bitter people who only know how to complain about the situation. And they make you their boss! I am the Head of the indebted, afflicted and bitter! David said ... as if I did not have problems, now I have many people who believe that I can help them ...

In my opinion, I believe that most people when they go to form communities and especially where there are profits in between, always think first of the benefit that this can generate.

These people did not represent precisely the best of society; neither did he appear to be skillful and brave warriors. Despite this, God used David to restore this group of people. From this group emerged those who in the Bible are known as the brave of David.

In the same way God used @sirknight to lead @steemchurch and uses means we do not understand to show us his power. It is here, in the cave of Adulam, (@steemchurch) where the brave are formed. Who would believe it? But it's true.

If we set our sights a few months ago, I believe that none of us are the same, we have grown spiritually, in compassion, mercy, kindness, trust, faith, hope and love, just because someone with a divine vision took us to a level superior of valentia, only our essence can be given, and the essence of @sirknight is to be brave.

@Steemchurch is a place that God uses to restore his people, to give them back their identity and the purpose they have lost; so that they recover their self-esteem, and know that they are valuable people for God and, as such; They can favorably influence our society. @Sirknight is our David, Jesus is our savior, he transforms our lives with his power.

Observe how this story ends ...

The brave ones of @SteemChurch

1 Chronicles 11: 10

These are the chiefs of David's brave men, who gave him strong support in his kingdom, along with all Israel, to make him king, according to the word of the Lord concerning Israel. 11 And these are the list of the mighty men of David: Jashobeam, the son of Hachmoni, chief of the thirty; he brandished his spear against 300 whom he killed in one fell swoop. 12 After him, Eleazar, son of Dodo the Ahohite; He was one of the three brave men. 13 He was with David in Pasdamim when the Philistines gathered there for battle; and there was a parcel full of barley, and the people fled before the Philistines, 14 and stood in the midst of the parcel, and defended it, and smote the Philistines; and the Lord saved them with a great victory (salvation).

The brave men of David were not always brave, some time they were ordinary people. Read 1st. Samuel 22: 1-2. It is the passage from Adulam's cave. What was there? Wanderers, exiles, bitter, indebted, people who had fled their social circle because they were considered human scum. If you like to speculate, I do not have the slightest doubt that there were those who in the future would be the brave David, meditate this and let's fight.

At the heart of @Sirknight there is a greater desire: to wake up and prepare a people so that they can win the coming battles, @SteemChurch is now a brave community that will fight every day to leave a better world.

The beauty of giving brings rewards: let's look at what these brave men did with David:

2 Samuel 21: 15-22 Reina-Valera 1960 (RVR1960)
Abisai delivers David from the giant
The Philistines returned to make war with Israel, and David and his servants went down with him, and they fought with the Philistines; and David got tired.
And Isbi-benob, one of the descendants of the giants, whose spear weighed three hundred shekels of bronze, and who was girded with a new sword, tried to kill David;
But Abishai the son of Zeruiah came to his aid, and he smote the Philistine and killed him.

When our leaders get tired, the brave generation is there to continue the legacy and move forward with God's plans.

How good God is, he shapes us, he loves us places us in the hands of the brave.

@SirKnight: Like arrows in the brave hand,
These are the children of youth.
Blessed is the man who filled his quiver with them;
He will not be ashamed
When I'll talk to the enemies at the door.
Psalm 127: 4-5

...Waiting for the Beatitudes!...

Super original and full of inspiration messages, I had the pleasure of reading everything and it is an extremely important message for the church. Why?

number 1
We are in the most crucial era of humanity, the powers of darkness have taken control of many powerful people on earth. The Valiant of the Church must wake up!

Number 2

The story of David is a sign that the power is in trusting in God, in helping the weakest to find their talent and fight for noble causes!

number 3

The leader gets tired, but the parishioners can offer encouragement and fidelity in the midst of any crisis.

Number 4

SirKnight always thinks about how to bless others, just as David helped a miserable group for society, SteemChurch was also created to help and train men and women of war who fight for freedom and not for the love of money.

5 Bad times do not last forever. SK already said.

Maybe you are in a cave right now, but you do not have to be afraid, if that cave is part of God's plan, it will bring out something big. And the greatest is that he will know God in a different and fresh way. People will come to you and they will follow you and those who arrive may be "the embittered, indebted and afflicted" but then they will become the "greats of David" the best army of that time. Thank you Apostle @darlenys01, you have impacted me with this message because my life has been changed in @steemchurch, for the better.

And together Sister Darlenys - there are no fears, that we will not all overcome.

Great one there, this is so true, God bless you dear

Tremendous apostolic message for the church, as well as motivating for those who had the privilege of starting steemchurch, our friend Sirknight, and all of us who have come to this great community, this time I speak to men and women who have come with many deficits, but that we have taken seriously the call and commitment of the kingdom of God. A brave man is someone very focused on the perfect will of God. and in this our beloved steemchur has become

thank you darlenys apostle for teaching us words of kingdom. and for counting on your courage and that of our friend Sirknight. God will reward

God wants us to be free, that is what Jesus came for, to bring freedom to the captives, to open the prison to the prisoners. Sometimes a person enters a cave of affliction, of anguish, of depression, of fear, of rejection, of religion, but Christ is our deliverer, approach him and with his power he will do his work. Thank you @sirknight and @darlenys01 for being sensitive to the voice of God and letting yourself be used by him in a surprising way.

And this is really what God did when we arrived @steemchurch. God changes us. thank you Apostle @darlenys01 woman used by God. Your ministry is tremendous here on earth. Thank you @sirknight man with a viison set by God to bless.
