WHEN YOU CAN NOT DO MORE, LOVE.
1 Corinthians 13:13
What do you do when you do not have faith? Mistress Because the greatest power you have is not faith; The greatest power you have is the power of love. Each church has its line; the kingdom, the apostolic, and so on. And we can all make the mistake of shutting ourselves up in our style, in our line of thought, and losing what are the true foundations of the Christian faith. Because faith is not everything, and hope is not; but love is everything. God is not faith, God is not hope, but God is love. And, when you do not have faith, the only thing you can do is love.

Romans says that all things work for good, not for those who believe, but for those who love. So it is not faith that assures you that everything is going well for you; what assures you that everything is going well is that, when you do not have faith, you dare to love above all things. And, many times, your love is based on the faith that you have of the other person, in the hope that you put on that other person; you have faith that that person will make you happy, that he will fulfill the promise he made to you at the altar, that with that person you will achieve an ideal life; But the truth is that we all know that we are going to suffer disappointments in life, and that that faith and that hope that you put in someone, at some point will be disappointed.
You have to learn that your love can not be based on the faith or the hope you have of that person, but that your love has to be based on the true decision to know the love of God in your life, and be able to transfer it to all those around you. If you love for the faith that someone gives you, for the hope it gives you, someday your love will go away, when faith is disappointed and hope is lost. Therefore, you have to live above all this.
"If I speak human and angelic tongues, and have no love, I come to be like a resounding metal, or a clanging cymbal." 1 Corinthians 13: 1
It is easier to speak in tongues than to love. And many prefer to speak in tongues, than to love. It is easier to give your goods than to love. Because loving entails a true sacrifice. To love, you have to submit your flesh. And the problem is that the church has lost this principle, without realizing that the most that will bring us true transformation is to live in the power of love.
The love that you experience, in general, is based on faith, on the hope that you put in those around you. A person marries faith, but more than faith, you have to marry with love, for love. You marry with faith that everything will go well, you marry with hope. You, as a father, want the best for your children; to marry someone who has studied, who has a future; but what is really important is that they are willing to love them with sacrifice.
Why do not you have the motivation to get up every morning? Because you do not love work; and God did not send you to love work, but the one who loves someone goes out to work, to fight. You work when you love someone who makes you get up every day, because you know that you have to meet, that you meet the needs.
God has loved you in that way. He gets up every day, and he has done it for you, from the beginning, in spite of sin, of failure; He sent his Son to die for you on the cross of Calvary. You are the affection of God, what makes Him rise every morning to see what He can do to bless you.
Recognize today that it is not that you have been worthy of this, but that God has loved you, even knowing what he knows about you, knowing what he knows about you, look where he has you, what he has done for you. Every morning, He gets up to see what He does for you to bless you.
And, in the same way, your life will never make sense if you do not love God that way, and if you do not love someone that way. What makes your life miserable is that you try to have faith and hope to love then, without realizing that the most powerful thing is neither faith nor hope, but love.
Today I invite you to tell God how much you love him, and to that person who is there for you that you also love, express it, as well as love for our fellow human beings.
