FIGHT FOR YOUR BLESSING

Genesis 32: 24-30 - So Jacob was left alone; and a man fought with him until dawn. 25 And when the man saw that he could not be with him, he touched the place of the lace of his thigh, and Jacob's thigh dislocated as he struggled with him. 26 And he said, Leave me, because the dawn is breaking. And Jacob answered him: I will not leave you, if you do not bless me. 27 And the man said to him, What is your name? And he replied: Jacob. 28 And the man said to him, Your name shall not be called Jacob, but Israel, because you fought with God and with men, and you have won.

The biblical account of Jacob reminds me of the importance of accepting the blessing that each challenge brings.

In that story, Jacob fought with a man, who is often said to be an angel. By refusing to release him throughout the night and until dawn, Jacob finally received his blessing.

Like Jacob, we can also find blessing even in the most difficult situation, no matter how complex it may seem; but yes, we must fight for the blessing to be revealed as we let go of the arrogance and desire that our will be done. Then we become aware of the activity of God.

What I am telling you is that, we have to fight for our blessings.

That is, we can not give up, or think that the blessings of God are not within our reach because we do not deserve them because of our past, or because we do not receive them immediately.

The story of Jacob will teach us that God wants to bless us, but if we really want the blessing, then we can not give up, we have to be willing to fight for it.

Brother, do not give up, do not stop fighting for his blessing, and you must understand that the blessing is not at the end of the battle, THE BATTLE IN ITSELF IS A BLESSING FOR YOUR LIFE.
