Matthew 5: 3.

Family of steemchurchur, Blessings for all. It is an honor for me to contribute to the guidelines of the Apostle Darlenys in the events that took place in the sermon on the mountain between Jesus and his disciples.

As you know, the scriptures are considered as a person, since they question us, ask us questions, and await answers.

Bible scholars claim that written words are words of love that the husband (Jesus) exchanges with his wife (the church).

That is why the Beatitudes are interpreted as the direct vehicle of Jesus Christ with his disciples, in order to guide them to the maximum expression of the kingdom of God, through the greatest principles given in all history by any man.

Jesus knew the heart of each one of his disciples, just as he also knows every human heart.

Jesus knows the past, present and future, which is why he uses the distinctive features to teach his disciples the way they would live to be freed from the pressures of the soul and the world.

MY INTERPRETATION

Jesus begins his teaching with the greatest virtue of the human being "poor in spirit." Because he knew that a person who was poor in spirit had the capacity to depend solely and exclusively on God, he had the full possibility of recognizing God as the sole author of happiness.

The psalmist David, was one of the key examples in the Bible about this happiness, in Psalms 1: 1-2 he says:

"Blessed is the man whose joy is the law of the Lord, and meditates his law day and night" because happiness does not depend on material things, on material well-being, nor on material pleasures, but on dependence on God, in the search for God.

Being poor in spirit, for man it is difficult, but for God nothing is impossible!

Therefore, all of us who have come to be liberated by Jesus Christ, are poor in spirit, because it is through grace, and the HOLY SPIRIT of God, that we have access to this bliss, not with our strength, but with mercy. of God.

This bliss is a light in the way of the Christian, to behave in the kingdom and to enter that kingdom.

Being poor in spirit is the strongest weapon of the Christian, because it makes you humble, prudent, merciful, kind, tolerant ... and you make the old man that was tainted in your heart die, there is no longer individualism, self-sufficiency, pride, unforgiveness , acceptance of people, racism ... because God makes you free.

Sort:

It is extraordinary to see the perception of each one of the same theme, this context is special: to be poor in spirit is to have freedom.

To be poor is spirit is to stand without pretense before God, stripped of all self-sufficiency, self-security, and self-righteousness.
