Fund-raising For Orphans At The Trinitarian Orphanage
The SAOF has functioned for over a year, raising funds and organising children events, basically we are doing everything in our power to give to orphans what parents give to their children.
The loving bond between a parent and child is the most beautiful relationship especially the maternal bond.
These children have been stripped of the mental, emotional and physical support a parent can offer, the impact of parental absence will be felt through childhood to adulthood.
For these orphans, it's likely they will go through some challenges ranging from abandonment to hunger.
The Love of God for both children with or without parents is limitless, God sees, hears and know their every desire and He deeply loves them.
God’s love for children living as orphans means something for us.
It means that we must step into their need and do whatever we can to help every child come to know the love and protection of a family.
It means we must ask what God has called us to do, and then do that with all of our might.
The reality of a child living without parents is part of our broken world, but we believe every child needs to know the love of a family.
May 27th is World Children's day and we plan on showing this love to the orphans @ The Trinitarian Orphanage by throwing them a Children's Day Party and presenting them gifts.
We don't just plan on giving them stuff but actually assist in proper education, development, talent development and skill acquisition just to secure their future,
we are just trying to do our best to make this generation of orphans and the future generations better than the past.

Serving at orphanages or children’s homes is more process oriented than goal oriented. You don’t get to quite see the impact of your service. You don’t know what the impact is because you don’t know or control what happens in the rest of their life. And you are not there with them all time, but it’s the chain of volunteers who keep coming group after group who are there for them.
Usually when you start working with the children they are sitting there next to a toy. Once the children get your attention they start to smile more. They are not just sitting there with the toys, they are playing with them.
This is a nice initiative
