The apostle Paul gives important advice to Christians:

"Therefore, be imitators of God, as beloved children, (...) For once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord, live as children of light, for the fruit of light consists of all kindness, justice and truth, and learn to discern what is pleasing to the Lord. "(EPHESIANS 5: 1-10)

To be an imitator of God means to live as he would live, if he were in our place. It is "getting rid of the old man" and changing our way of thinking, speaking and acting. The result is reflected in all our relationships, whether between parents and children, spouses, heads and subordinates, in social life and especially in the Church, between brothers in Christ.

In chapters 4 through 6 of Ephesians, Paul teaches in practice how to be an imitator of God! It is a great challenge, but it is not impossible. You can be a person according to the heart of God! Read and meditate on the Word of the Lord. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you follow each of these councils and make you a new person for the glory of the Lord Jesus!
