Sublime Grace And Favor Of God!

in #steemchurch6 years ago

For many years I have tried to understand how God, being so Great and Sublime, has come a long way to save the human race, despite the condition in which man has fallen. An Answer is in my head: His Love, His Grace and His Favor.

Grace is the greatest gift granted by God to all who want to receive it, and the best thing is that it has no cost. Grace comes from the Greek "caris" which means "beauty or attractiveness".

God does not see us in our lamentable condition, but gives us a favorable view, which is what produces the miracle of transformation. Grace has the ability to transform our destiny, for it takes us out of the abyss of darkness and transports us to the light of His love.

The grace of God was manifested in fullness through one person, the man who has most impacted the entire world: Jesus Christ. This is why we must strive daily to keep on the path of grace that was granted to us through Jesus and His redeeming work on the cross of Calvary.

The life of Nehemiah is a clear example of what it is to obtain directly from God the grace and favor to fulfill God's purpose for him and his city.

I beseech thee, O LORD, be attentive to your ear to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants, who desire to reverence thy name; grant now good success to your servant, and give him grace before that man. Because I served as cupbearer to the king. "
Nehemiah 1:11

I wish to point out three aspects that should not be lacking in a Christian, to live under the Grace and Favor of the King:

A LIFE OF PRAYER

"I pray you, O Jehovah, be attentive now your ear to the prayer of your servant, and to the prayer of your servants ..."

Every conquest is won in the secret place, and it is for this reason that the enemy is always looking for ways to interfere in the daily life of the Christian, bringing distraction and opposition so that he does not use this powerful spiritual weapon that is prayer.

Many times we fail to get an answer to our prayers because they may be superficial, or soon they are made without faith, or perhaps we do them without the correct motivation.

God wants to adorn our life with a fragrant smell of grace and favor, but we must understand that our prayers must go beyond the natural plane and must reach the heart of the Father so that we may obtain an answer. It is also important to be sure that we are doing the right prayer, so if at a certain moment you do not know how to pray properly, the Holy Spirit is our guide and who will direct you to raise the correct and specific prayer.

It is time to recover the passion for prayer, and for our clamor to move the hand of God on our behalf!

AN ATTITUDE OF REVERENCE

"Those who wish to revere your name ..."

Only he who has a reverent fear before God and is constantly rectifying his ways, is one who reflects humility in his way of acting, speaking and relating to God.

We know that rebellion is part of the nature of the adversary, and that one of his strategies with the new generations is to infuse this irreverence, lack of subjection and rebellion in the hearts of young people to divert them from the purpose of God. But we must ask the Lord for a right spirit and a heart that humbly recognizes their weaknesses, that recognizes God in all their ways and that learns to conquer all on their knees, humbled before His mighty hand.

"The sacrifices of God are the broken spirit; To the contrite and humiliated heart you will not despise you, O God. "(Psalm 51:17)

SPECIFIC CONFESSIONS

"Grant your servant good success now."

There is a special power in confession! So when the king came to talk with Nehemiah (chapter 2), in the first verses, one of the questions he asks is: "what do you ask?", Giving him to understand "what do you want me to do for you? " Nehemiah knew that this was his opportunity to ask the king what he needed to rebuild his hometown, so he asked for the following: permission to leave his job for several days, also a letter to cross borders and territories with the authorization of the king, and also asks for fine wood to rebuild the Jerusalem gates that had been burned. Had it not been for the grace that was laid upon him, Nehemiah would not have had so much support from the king.

In the same way, we see in the Gospels that Jesus, whenever he had contact with the sick or needy, the first thing he asked was, "What do you want me to do for you?", Leading them to confess specifically the miracle that they needed.

It is necessary that our confessions be specific, and that everything we need, we present before God because He listens and your confessions become declarations that faith that move the spiritual world in your favor.
