What we hear the most, today, is about the serious crisis in which Venezuela finds itself. The diagnoses are partial, because they do not reveal the true causes, which pass with amplitude accentuated by the different powers, where the marks of corruption can no longer be hidden.

This affects society as a whole, making social programs where a large part of national resources goes, are no longer sufficient to sustain the rapid widespread impoverishment in the nation.

In the Church, however, the picture may be different.

When we understand the depth of what it is to be a Christian and live under the good, pleasant and perfect will of the Father (Romans 12.12). We come to understand that all things cooperate for the good of those who love Him. So, my affirmation is that we do not enter into despair when we are in Christ.

The Apostle Paul affirmed it by divine inspiration:

... we are troubled in everything, but not distressed; in distress, but not desperate;
2 Corinthians 4: 8

Life in Christ is a life of faith

It is too much for you to get up at dawn, and go late to rest, and eat the bread of sorrows, for God will give his beloved the dream.
Psalm 127: 2

When we live by faith, we come to enjoy the divine economy, which leads us to live under the administration of the Father who governs all things. He is the same God with the high dollar or with the low dollar. When we believe, we know that He multiplies the oil of the widow and the resources of the poor. Therefore, by faith, receive from a grateful heart, even a little, for God will add you.

Life in Christ's life expectancy

Is not that my house with God? Because he established with me an eternal covenant, in everything well defined and secure. I'm not going to make it grow all my salvation and my hope? - 2 Samuel 23.5

Whoever is in God and in Christ will always be safe. Security is the basis of our hope.

Live life in the love of Christ

But whoever has this world, and sees his brother in need, and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God dwell? 1 John 3.17.

The times of crisis are the opportunities that God gives us to demonstrate his genuine and true love. Deal what we have, even if it is little. I recently entered the cubicle where a refugee family lived in the Middle East. The precarious conditions did not prevent the wife from bringing pieces of bread, tea and slices of cucumber and tomatoes to all who were there.

I was impressed that this Christian woman, who did not know what she was going to eat the other day, nevertheless shared the little she had at home. The church that has in abundance is the one that distributes with the needy, first those of the faith and also Venezuelan lps around us, that without God, is entering in despair.

My advice, besides the three that gives us the word, is that we avoid waste and debts. Let's learn to live simply with what we have. The eternal values ​​of compassion and mercy must be the engine of the Church with great faith, hope and love for all.
