The Holy Spirit and Man (1)
Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
One of the importance of the scriptures is to give a believer accurate information for destiny edification. From scriptures, the Holy Spirit is instrumental to the creation of man and He continues to preserve and keep man alive.
For one to experience the Holy Spirit, do the following:
- Recognize the interest of the Holy Spirit in a man's life
- Realize the involvement of the Holy Spirit in all affairs of man.
- Reach out for his continuous impartation.
Now, the Holy Spirit works in different stages in the life of a man:
John 16:8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
The Holy Spirit convicts and reproves the sinner in his conscience to bring him to repentance and salvation. It is the Holy Spirit that continues to remind a man of a message heard.
The Holy Spirit strives and persuades man to bring him back to God.
The Holy Spirit bears witness in the heart of man on the truth of the gospel of Jesus.
The Holy Spirit uses the word of God to pierce and prick the heart of the sinner.
The Holy Spirit supplies to the soul-winner preaching utterance and wisdom that cannot be resisted by the hearer.
Friends, recognize that you cannot do anything without the Holy Spirit's leading. Open up your heart for him and celebrate his ministry that brings us salvation.
Jesus Christ warned us that the Christian life is full of struggles and tribulations. You, then, must not wait for the end of difficulties and problems, but the comfort of God. You are not orphaned or destitute of paternity. We have the Comforter! The Holy Spirit is our helper, counselor and defender.
