Look Your Saviour Comes
This is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it.
I welcome you all to another gracious Sunday and also the first Sunday in the month of December . Also today is the first Sunday of Advent/Parousia. Advent is classified in 4 Sundays, and during the old days believers fast for three times in a week for the 4 weeks in Advent. Advent or Parousia has two phases, the first is the Incarnation of Jesus Christ and secondly as the birth of Jesus Christ. As we journey to welcome the birth of our saviour Jesus Christ, I pray we see 2019 in a grand style. Today I would like us to talk about the theme;
Look Your Saviour Comes
Jeremiah 33:14-16

“‘The days are coming,’ declares the LORD, ‘when I will fulfill the good promise I made to the people of Israel and Judah.
15
“‘In those days and at that time.
I will make a righteous Branch sprout from David’s line;
he will do what is just and right in the land.
16
In those days Judah will be saved
and Jerusalem will live in safety.
This is the name by which it
will be called: [a ]
The LORD Our Righteous Savior.’
In another gospel of Jeremiah, God told Jeremiah that his people will have to in slavery for 70 years and after 70 years, he the Lord will save you then. Jeremiah 29
In the gospels of Luke Jesus predicted the signs of the end time. He told us all the various happens that would come during the end times.
He tells every believer not to panic when these signs happen because there is hope. He will save every one who believes and does his will.
Tho some people still ask if the messiah will still come. I o them they see Jesus Christ as one of the prophets who was sent to earth to proclaim the word of the messiah. But I tell you, No matter how long it takes Jesus Christ will still come.
Warnings Christ Jesus Gives to us
- He tells us to be on guard against careless living(Drinking, fornication, adultery, pleasures of Christmas)
- we need to be spiritually alert
- we need to watch and pray at all times.
- we need to be identified to the pple who walks in the Lord.
- we should be prayerful like the apostle Paul
As I bring my message to a close,
Are you prepared for his second coming, because in his second coming he is not coming as a lamb anymore but he is coming as a judge, as an angry judge.
Prepare for him because his coming is near.
