The Christian Appearance
Imagine that you are very very thirsty. You meet a "mad" (mentally challenged) man dressed in tattered and very dirty clothes gives you what looks like very clean and purified water in a very neat looking glass, would you take it and drink?

A section of Christians were asked this question and almost all of them said no. They were then asked what their reasons were. Some said it's because the one offering the water looks unkempt. Other's said they couldn't trust the water was pure even though it looked clean because the giver didn't look that way.
The whole world thirst for the good news of Christ. What is the good news of Christ. The good news is that, Christ was born, He died and on the 3rd day, He resurrected. He came to die for the sin of unbelief of all mankind.
Christ has made us all messengers to go out to the ends of the world, telling this good news to all, but unfortunately, many people aren't accepting this message because of their encounters with people who profess to be Christians. Even people who say they are pastors have made Christianity unattractive to people.
If you wouldn't accept clean water from a dirty looking person, why would we expect the world to accept the good news when our lives daily make Christianity dirty. As a Christian, you need to portray Christ-like attitude everyday and wherever you are, not only in church. We have now become Sunday Christians or worshippers.
Your life is the first testimony of Christ. If you can't make someone want to follow or hear about Christ, there is very little your words can do. Evangelism is very important, but so is living godly lives. Imagine going on a group evangelism and you meet a prostitute you slept with the previous night. What are you going to tell her? That Christ came to die for her? And if she asks you if Christ died for you too, what will your answer be?
Make Christianity appealing to all.Your life should be such that, when someone brings a fight to your doorstep, unbelievers will be there to defend your "Christianism". Impact people with the way you live, and they will even volunteer to follow you to church. Woe to you if you are the reason that someone says, "I will never be a Christian". If you can't evangelise to bring people to Christ, don't let your behaviour push people away from Christ.
