ACCEPTING CHILDREN IN CHRIST’S NAME

The place of little children in God’s kingdom.

And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me. But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. There’re so many inspirations and teachings concerning children in the scriptures, maybe some of us has not taken time to understand that children are highly precious at God’s sight, but looking at our scriptural passage we could see how that the lord expects adults to be changed and become like little children before they can be accepted in his kingdom.

Children are known for a great faith, they do not doubt anything but with absolute love believes all things.

Accepting little children is as good as accepting God, and Christ says it clearly that accepting little children in his authority is also accepting him; meaning that when you see a child and remember the instructions of Christ concerning them and you acted or relate to them having Christ at the back of your mind, the scriptures says you’re doing it for Christ.

We’re the gloriouskids and we’re glad that Steem community and Steemchurch International Ministry accepted us and have related with us like unto their own children, indeed they did this for Christ and their rewards abides unto eternity.

Don’t offend little children or make them err as such actions attract God’s wrath, rather teach little children ways to help them better navigate this rough world, help them build better relationships with God. Help them by giving them a bright future through education.
