THE PEACE AND WAR MAKERS

Blessed are the peace makers for they shall be called the children of God.

Mattew 5:9

However I'd like to add (emphasis mine) that: cursed are the trouble makers for they shall be called the children of the devil. There are believers who make wars amongst brethren in churches. They turn the pastors against brethren and brethren against brethren. There are war makers in your immediate and extended family! There are war makers and war manufacturers while you sleep in the night! They plan how to steal your peace and replace it with "battles without end". There are war makers in nations! There are gun and weapon manufacturers who feast on the blood of others! There are coffin manufacturers who can only laugh while others are weeping!

For example, from the history books, war makers excited in 1861. They came to Lagos, produced a document for the Oba of Lagos to sign, so that Lagos would be the personal property of the queen of England. They knew nothing about how Lagos came to be. But they came with their guns boats and asked the Oba to sign. Of course, he signed, and they took Lagos. War markers! In 1896, they brought another document to the Oba of Benin Kingdom to sign. He refused and war broke out. Lives were sacrificed and more than 27 traditional and native Industries of the kingdom were damaged. They wrote to the queen and said "We have conquered the land were the sun would never set. They finally banished and deported the the Oba.

Indeed, there are political war markers and war markers within your community and you must be watchful against them. Proverb 6:16 says:

There are six things the Lord hates...He that soweth discord (division) and quarrels amongst brethren...." .

Don't join anyone to fight your pastor or your fellow brethren. As this year speed on, anyone planning "battles without end" for your life and ministry shall end up in the land of everlasting shame, disgrace and tears!. Those planning to turn your helpers against you will end up in utter disappointment in Jesus name and those planning night battles to map strategies for you to fall will lick your dust at last in Jesus name! Always remember: Forgiveness is the best revenge! be a peace maker and peace will be your last bus-stop against all odds in Jesus name! Amen and amen!
