The heavens declare the glory of God, the firmament displays His handiwork (Psalm 19: 1)

It's so interesting to note that the ancient people who did not have cars, mobile phones, satellites, televisions, telescopes, space programs, internet, bombs, hospitals and schools could know and believe that nature, material things and life didn't happen by accident. But there is a Creator. And yet we the modern, educated, intelligent, sophisticated and technological people bypass all logic and sound thinking and judgment to believe and accept that there is no God, the Maker of all things but life, nature and material things all came by accident and evolution. Why are we so bent on denying somebody his great achievement?
David, the young shepherd of ancient Israel brings you and I to understanding, by revealing to us that what we see around teaches us something about their Maker, and not themselves.
The heavens or space (as the modern science calls it) are recounting, and proclaiming the honour of its Maker, the Yahweh of hosts. And the firmament or the sky (as the modern science calls it) tells what His hands have done. The heavens are the works of His fingers, He set the moon, the sun, the stars, the meteors etc in their place (Psalm 8: 3). And they intend show us how majestic His name is, how awesome is power is (Psalm 8: 9). David tells us that. every day, these creatures pour forth speech and every night, they tell knowledge (Psalm 19: 2 -6). Our problem as modern people is that we refuse to accept the knowledge they tell us and believe their speech, though they use no language. And instead, we tell them they are there by accident, by a Big Band, by evolution, which happened billions of years.

Apostle Paul therefore warns us that we are without excuse! Because we can't continue to suppress the truth of God in our ignorance, perverse thinking and unrighteouness. Because what can be known about God, the Creator and Maker of all things, are evident among us, for God has made it clear to us through His creation, which is His handiwork. Even the creation reveals to us God's invisible attributes, both His eternal power and deity,, can all clearly be discerned and understood in the creation. Because of this, we claim to be wise and intelligent yet we have become fools. Therefore we will be ever learning and yet not able to come to the knowledge of the truth of God (Rom 1: 18 -22, 2 Tim 3: 7)
Question: Do the heavens and the sky above bring you to knowledge of God and therefore faith and obedience to Him or they are just there by accident? Do day and night, trees and animals, mountains and valleys, rivers and oceans bring the knowledge of God to you or they are just nature that must be enjoyed? Are you allowing nature to teach you to the truth of God or just using your ignorance and perverse thinking to suppress the truths they reveal about God?
These are hard questions, but they are meant to challenge you on the truths of God.
I pray that from today, you begin to grasp with faith what nature, the creation, the universe and skies are telling us about their invisible Creator and Maker, the Yahweh of hosts. And therefore yield yourself in humble adoration, thanksgiving and obedience to Him.
Oh Lord our God, how excellent is your Name and power in all your creation in Jesus name. Amen
