Steemchurch:LET THE PRAISE FLOW

Praise awaits you, O God, in Zion. There vows made to you are fulfilled (Psalm 65: 1)

How time flies! We began this year and now we are fast approaching its end. But do you know that we have almost than with 12 months, 52 weeks, 365 days, 8, 760 hours, 525, 600 minutes and 31, 546, 000 seconds?
And the shocking aspect is that within these months and weeks and days and hours and minutes, many things have happened, good and bad, that have impacted and affected people differently? We have had four different seasons with different outcomes- spring, summer, fall and winter, harmattan and rainy seasons other events such as planting. harvesting, earthquakes and sunamis, conflicts and resolutions, murders and killings, sicknesses and health, births and deaths, promotions and demotions, successes and failures, progress and retrogression, friends and enemies. And the list goes on.
But one thing is certain in all these and it's the certainty that our God reigns! And also the fact that you and I are alive and living, and sharing in the grace and kindness of God through His bounty provisions and providence.
This is what the Psalmist recognized and acknowledged and couldn't help himself but to tell God that, in the whole world and in the whole earth, if nobody and no place would praise Him for these, in Zion praise awaits Him there and there His covenant people, Israel, would fulfill their vows made to Him and bring Him a free -will offerings. Wow. What an amazing revelation from David and the people of Israel. And I am thinking we too would see this and flow with it. So instead of in Zion, let it be in your life and in your innermost being and in your home. Let praise awaits God there. For indeed the Lord our God reigns. He is great and greatly to be praised (Psalm 48: 1, Psalm 96: 4)

And do you know where God would like to be in the whole world? Scripture says it's in your praise, for the Lord dwells in the praises of His people (Psalm 22: 3). So let the praise flow from your lips and from your heart for having you scaled through the year despite the challenges, difficulties, problems and troubles of life and the times.
So as we approach the end of the year, be like David by telling God not only to crown your year with His goodness but also that great praise awaits Him in your heart and innermost being.
And may the blessing accompanying praise accompany you and overtake you to the end of the year in Jesus name. Amen
Just find it in your heart and begin to praise the Lord. Just to remind you praise is always loud for you can't praise God and be silent. It's not possible
Shalom, life and grace to you
