A promise of Salvation and Eternal Life.
Sacred Promise of God.
In the Bible we find many of God's promises for his children, a good example is Psalm 1, where the Lord promises great blessings for the one who takes care of his steps and rejoices in his word. We also have Psalm 23, which reminds us that the Lord is Our Shepherd and that He is always at our side even when we are in the darkest situation or place.
Isaiah 1:18, "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow: though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool."
Sin separates man from God. But God promises "eternal life in Christ Jesus" (Romans 6:23). To repent is to change direction and take the true path, which is Christ.
BIBLICAL REFERENCES OF GOD'S PROMISES:
Acts 3:19, "So repent and repent, that your sins may be blotted out, that the times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord." Repenting is asking for forgiveness and confessing the name of Jesus.
Romans 10: 9, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Believe that Jesus Christ is the only one who can save you from eternal damnation.
John 11: 25-26, Jesus told him: I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in me, though he is dead, will live. And everyone who lives and believes in me will not die eternally. Do you believe this? Receive Christ and invite him into his life. Know who God is and his promises of life.
Jesus promised his church that he would return in glory, and that there will be a new world created by God. He will change in his coming the whole system of things created by man and the promises we have for this and that time of his arrival are wonderful.God is faithful and true, in the same way his promises. We can find many of them in the bible, God speaks to us with his word through the administration of the Holy Spirit, and says in the palbra that while two or more are gathered talking about the word of God there will dwell his grace.
