Another lovely service at the church today I really enjoyed the service and fill the presence of Holly Spirit
The topic for today's sermon is :

DRY BONES CAN LIVE AGAIN (EZEKIEL 37 1-10)

The spiritual state of humans is represented by an unusual and living image of dry bones. Ezekiel has the order to preach to the bones, and something extraordinary happens. A miracle of new impulses of life, the people of God has risen, and before Ezekiel stands a great army! It was a rebirth in a bone court. Today we also need a flood of the Spirit of God to flood the dry valleys that dominate our lives. We need the outbreak of living water to replace the dusty deserts of our lives. We need dry bones to live again!

When will the bones dry again? When will we experience a new encounter with God? When will we see the appearance of a new life of death? Although revival is a work of the "sovereign Lord," there are certain conditions to experience a new encounter with God. Application of Life: When the people of God fulfill the conditions of God, a true spiritual renewal will take place.

Notice the first condition, it must be. , ,

  • A Divine Confrontation (37: 1-3)
God has made Ezekiel to do unusual things in his service. He told her to eat a scroll (3: 1-3); He made a model of Jerusalem and played war games to restore his next destruction (4: 1-3); and shaved his head and beard (even burning his hair) as a token of judgment (5: 1-3), to name a few. Ezekiel was a prophet who was exposed to extraordinary visions and strange actions. In this unusual view of chapter 37, Ezekiel is captured by the Lord ("taken" NLT) and is led by the Holy Spirit of a cemetery. The Spirit of God brought him to the center of a valley full of bones (verse 1). As he passed through the valley, he noticed that the bones were "very dry" (V.2).

In the immediate context, it was a prophetic vision of the nation of Israel. In a depressing and relentless captivity, humans were like scattered and unburied skeletons. People are drying up and dying, and they are not seeing the end of their judgment. They said, "Our bones are dry and our hope is gone, we are isolated!" (37:11). People saw no hope for a revival as a nation, but God told them that their bones would be alive again!

The revitalization of dry bones meant the restoration of the nation. The vision showed that the new life of Israel depended on the power of the Lord of the Lord (verses 5-6, "I will do it"), not external circumstances. It would be the Lord who opened their graves and brought them back to earth (37:12). So it was really a vision of great hope and encouragement! Dry bones can and will live again!

If you are in captivity for a long time, you lose hope. If you are living through a period of drought, a time of hardship and extreme hardship, a time when it looks like God is nowhere, you wonder if God has forgotten me. Can God still do it? That's what Israel felt, but when they saw their condition and what God would do, their lives would be full of hope. We also need to revive our hope.

The first condition to return to life is to realize that you are in a dry zone and that you need the spiritual life of God. We need a divine confrontation. Ezekiel had to make an honest assessment of present realities, and that is what happens in the presence of God, we are confronted with reality, but also with the supernatural power of God.

  • A statement of faith (37: 3)
In 37: 3, God asks Ezekiel a question. "Can these bones live?" Why did God ask such a question? There was no question in the search for information. God wanted Ezekiel to put his faith in work and see the possibilities in front of him. God knows that dry bones can live again, but he wants Ezequiel to believe him. All God's people had lost this hope. They did not think it was possible. And God wants them to start believing not only that it is possible, but that it is happening! He wants you to believe that dry bones can be revived!

Ezequiel looks at the scene of death and says, "Lord, you only know it." "Where I come from does not look very promising, but only you know it." Ezekiel's answer was rather cautious. It was not that I doubted God. I just said, "God, only you know." "And you alone can do it." He says that this seems impossible from a purely human point of view. We can understand the careful answer of Ezekiel. After all, he preached on many dry bones for a long time and did not look

  • A Biblical Proclamation (37: 4-8)
In 37: 4-6, we told Ezekiel to preach to the bone, to preach to the dead! What are you preaching to the dead? "Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!" (37: 4) The dead need life and life is in the word! "Faith comes when it hears and hears the word of God" (Romans 10:17). What was the word that Ezekiel should bring to man? It can be found in verse 5. Dry bones can live again! "I will certainly make you breathe and live in you." It was a message of hope. A message of joy. A message with good news!

That is our glorious mission! "Tell the ancient and ancient story of Jesus and his love." The Word of God brings life (John 1: 1, Phil. 2: 16)! It is the unchanging Word of God that will change the world. The word is life and without the Bible there can be no awakening! Ezekiel obeyed the Lord and went to his church to preach the dead (37: 7). Watch what happened When the dead faced the Word of God, the dead began to make a little "noise".

Well, Ezekiel, I'm sure I was glad to hear some noise or something. One of our problems today is that there is not enough sacred noise in the church. There is a lot of noise in the church today, but it is not a "holy noise". The church is loud with programs, tours and people doing their own shows. New Testament churches are really loud churches. According to life. Loud spiritual questions form new converts. Loud with injured people. According to the activity of the spiritual realm.

A miracle happened during the sermon. The dry bones began to bind from bone to bone. Then the flesh appeared and the skin covered the flesh. Just before his eyes came a new life in response to the preached word. This miracle happens in preaching. Dry bones can be revived if there is a biblical proclamation.

Fourth, it has to. , ,

  • Spiritual Inspiration (37: 9-10)
Language is important, but without the Spirit of God there is no life! Verse 8 tells us that "there was no breath in them". The translated word "breath" is the Hebrew word "ruaj" and can be translated by wind, mind and breath. Talk about the divine activity of God. They were bodies with substance, but still without life. They missed the breath of God, the divine activity of the Spirit of God. Then Ezekiel was commanded to "breathe the breath." , , accept. , breathe these dead to live "(37: 9).

What did God say to Ezekiel? You realize that it is my spirit that gives life, Ezekiel. Ezekiel, let me fill you with my spirit. Let me give you strength because I can. "Everything is in vain when the Holy Spirit will come down, that the brothers will pray and that holy manna is spread everywhere." The dry bones can live when we, servants of God, seek the face of the Lord in prayer and interrogate them our lips, it strengthens our teachings, it opens the hearts of the people we serve. ,

When the Bible and the Spirit are united, there is birth and rebirth. The alarm clock is coming! In verse 10 came the breath of God, life came to the dead, and now stood "an extremely large army." When the church is restored, that is what we are: a mighty army of servants to fulfill God's mission. When the people of God fulfill the conditions of God, a true spiritual renewal takes place. Dry bones can live again!

Are you ready for a new meeting? That God does what He alone can do? Are you ready for new joy, peace, meaning, hope? Dry bones can live again!

prayer

Father, some of us today are in this dry valley of bones and need renewal, a new encounter with you, the saint. Others of us need to make a spiritual journey through the heart of the bones of this world so that we can clearly see the needs around us. Father, today would you take us to the valley of dry bones, if necessary, so that we can see our true state? Father, use your Word and your Spirit today to light the fires of awakening, visit us from above to have a new encounter with you, Lord Sovereign. Now give us the faith to believe you, to expect great things from you and then to try great things for you. Empower us with your Holy Spirit to preach, teach and share your word, change lives and change communities. May we be faithful. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
