Christian devotional based on Luke 10. There is no doubt that in order for human relationships to grow, trust is needed. It is extremely difficult to be transparent, dependent and vulnerable with someone you do not fully trust.

Step of Faith: I'm going to live a life that pleases God. "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your being, with all your strength and with all your mind", and: "Love your neighbor as yourself." Luke 10:27 (NIV)

You like God when you trust Him even in the smallest things.

There is no doubt that in order for human relationships to grow, trust is needed. It is extremely difficult to be transparent, dependent and vulnerable with someone you do not fully trust.

God understands how difficult it is, that is why He has taken the first step to establish a relationship of love and trust with you. He is not waiting for you to love him first or even trust in His love. He prepared everything with a love so perfect that it is able to scare away every one of your fears.

This leaves the door open so you can trust God by obeying small things, taking small steps of faith. Denise, who works as a secretary
of the Court, she experienced the power of God's Grace when she trusted Him enough to take a step of Faith.

"I had doubts, deciding if I should be part of this mission trip," said Denise. '' I was wondering, what can I do to help? I am not a nurse, a doctor, a teacher who has obvious skills that are necessary for these professions.

I thought, in sending only the money, because surely that would help. '' He adds: "I decided to say 'yes'' to God and hope for what He could do through me.

I am very happy to have made that decision! Not a day goes by that I do not keep in mind those cute and happy faces of the children we minister. "By trusting in God completely ('' Love the Lord your God with everything ... ''), you agree - in faith - on that you can trust that He keeps his promises, help you with your problems and do the impossible when necessary.

This makes it easy to realize that loving God is the starting point for your mission. You can not take a step of faith without first having the confidence that God is on the other side of that step of faith. Your faith should be placed only in God.

It is by loving God that you will develop the confidence necessary to fulfill your purpose and walk confidently to fulfill your mission and purpose. From now on, work on your own confidence.

Just as you learn to trust in God, consider your own ability to be a reliable person. If you had to trust yourself, would you? Are you willing to trust and obey? Are you showing that you are trustworthy in small things? God is not asking you to jump blindly by faith, what God asks of you is to take one small step at a time.
