Women have an extraordinary capacity to influence others. I have proven it in my experience as a mother and wife, and I think you will agree with me. Why when we accompany our spouses to buy a suit, a pair of shoes or a car, the seller insists on convincing us first of what is the best option? Obviously because he knows the power of persuasion of women, and knows that the shortest way to make a sale is to convince her.
In the Bible we find extraordinary narrations of women who exercised a powerful influence. Remember Jocabed; he only had his son Moses a few years under his tutelage, but it was enough to sow in him the principles and values that would later direct the life of that great leader. On the other hand, Eva had so much power of persuasion that her husband renounced the call that God had made to her, as long as she did not lose her. Ellen White comments: "Adam had enjoyed the fellowship of God and the angels, he had contemplated the glory of the Creator.
Esther was a brave woman, who used her influence to save her people. Despite being the queen of Persia, the king had no idea that Esther was Jewish. When Esther learned of a proposal to eliminate the Jewish people, she was confronted with having to make a decision: defend her people and risk their own security, or remain silent. In the end, his bravery prevailed. Talk about a woman of influence; What a tremendous example of faith and courage!

He understood the lofty destiny that awaited the human race if men remained faithful to God, however, he forgot all these blessings in the fear of losing the gift that he appreciated more than all the others. Love, gratitude and loyalty to the Creator, everything was stifled by love of Eve. She was part of herself, and Adam could not stand the idea of separation. Adam resolved to share the fate with Eva. If she died, he would die with her "(Patriarchs and Prophets, chapter 3, page 40).
In other words, the greatest personal influence, for better or for worse, will come from home. So for the wives, this influence includes her husband. For mothers, it will be their children. And for the grandmothers, their grandchildren. Never overlook the tremendous lasting impact that can occur when a mother or father has a personal influence on a life. That influence can have a domino effect on society and culture in general!
At the end of the day, how can you be that person of positive influence which God wants you to be? That begins with a relationship with Jesus Christ. In the process, the Spirit of the Lord will guide you, encouraging you and motivating you to share the truth that comes from the Word of God. You can also influence others by pointing them to Christ. And that is a transforming influence of life.
Every time you open your mouth, you are ministering death or life, and what you give out for it is what you are going to eat. " We have heard the phrase: "You are going to have to eat your words", and Proverbs 18:21 confirms this truth. The words we speak have the power to influence our lives. In fact, you may be eating your words right now, and that may be why you are not happy with your life. His mouth may be getting him in trouble with himself!
I know that we, the women of God, yearn to be, with every step we take, a source of blessing for others, and we will achieve this insofar as we docilely allow ourselves to be influenced by the Holy Spirit. The only thing we need is surrender, the rest will be done by the Lord in us. Make sure that what you say to others regarding both trivial and important matters is backed by a "so says the Lord." Analyze the advice that you are going to give, so you will realize if what you are going to say emanates from your selfishness. If so, with the strength of God seal your lips. Take advantage of your power to persuade every person you meet on your path to surrender to God.
