I welcome everyone of us to this beautiful day of the Lord. Let me use this opportunity to tell you that God loves you beyond your comprehension, he has been the one directing your steps since you came into this world, the scriptures talking about Christ Jesus, says that he is the light that lightened everyone that comes into this world! Meaning that all humanity, regardless what believe has been lightened by the word of God which is Christ; that light is also called life; the life of the word of God is the light of men hallelujah.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. John 1:1-5 (KJV)

Did you read that with me? It says that the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not, and that light is what we’re reflecting from the face of Jesus all the time for lightning up this world.

Now what is faith?

I’m glad that the lord has laid in my heart this topic, so many things has been said about faith, so many interpretations given, so many understanding taken about faith, are they all truth about faith? May or may not, as we are not going to outline all those things that men has said concerning faith here, but one thing is sure; all of us has been given a measure of grace and gift/s, some are given the gift of teaching, and today we’re going to walk by that gift of teaching as the lord enables us. Let’s start from what the scriptures says about faith.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:1 (KJV)

Before we go on, I’ll also like to drop the later part of the this scriptural passage which will boost our understanding of faith more faster.

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)

Please remember these two keywords; coming to God and diligently seek him. Now if faith is all about coming to God and seeking him diligently, then it will be more easier for us to understand those things hoped for and not seen that the Bible talks about faith. Faith is the ability to please God! Let me say it again, FAITH IS THE ABILITY TO PLEASE GOD! Don’t allow anyone to encumber you with confusions that leads to miss application of faith. Now talking about coming to God and diligently seeking him; God can never reveal himself to individuals that doesn’t take him seriously with all their heart, it’s only when diligence is applied in seeking God that one can actually start handling both the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

What are those things hoped for and not seen?

For every carnally minded folks, these could mean their carnal heart desires which they’re hoping from God. But here is purely talking about substance and evidence as having full *knowledge and full application of the perfect will of God at every time. A man of faith is not a man that obtaines all his personal heart desires from God, rather a man of faith is a man that through diligently seeking God has pleased God through carrying out his perfect will here on earth, and the will of God is not masked neither is it encoded, they’re found in his commandments. Now seeking God diligently means guarding his commandments in our hearts, no one can actually guard God’s commandments in his heart if he doesn’t believe that God is! And this if FAITH! Otherwise we may end up pleasing self and pleasing men and not God, meaning that we’re bound to do righteously when men are watching us but act carelessly when we’re alone which should not be that way. Faith is consummation of our minds and souls in the surety and in the reality of the sovereign God that is omnipresent omniscient and omnipotent, and that consciousness now causes us to love, fear and live in obedience to God even at our closest where no one sees us.

IN CONCLUSION

Faith is not a tool to obtaining all our hearts desires from God, but rather a tool for accomplishing all of God’s desires and perfect will here on earth.

It’s absolutely erroneous to be applying our faith in receiving worldly and physical things from God, faith is far beyond those teachings and understanding and I’m going to prove that in my coming blog post, just don’t go, follow me through in this topic and grow your most holy faith!

Note: Our goal is to have for God sons who can really surmount and overcome the corruption that is now pervading this world through lust, till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: Ephesians 4:13-15 (KJV).
