Luk 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
Luk 4:19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

You see we are the ones missing the point and the benefits of an Encounter with Christ. A seeing Him that is invisible. We have sold short the power of God for the doctrines of mere men. God has throughout the ages shown His own desire to be known and experienced by man. “In Him we live and move and have our being. He is everywhere, but He will manifest Himself to the person who approaches Him in humility and faith. To the truly hungry they will be filled. The one who will seek Him He will be found of them if they seek Him with all of their heart

An Encounter with Jesus results in

• Healing in your body.
  No matter what the sickness or disease. Incurable Cancers, hereditary disease completely cured as a result of an audience with King Jesus

• Freedom from bondage
  He is still setting the captive free. When the Son sets you free, you are free indeed.
  Like the woman caught in adultery He will tell you to “Go and sin no more” Taking away the root cause that provokes us to sin.

• Healing of our mind and emotions
  He still binds up the broken hearted

• Jesus still opens blind eyes, raises the dead. The deaf hear and those born crippled made completely whole

All needing an encounter with Christ Jesus

I was in Bulgaria and saw a an born crippled completely and instantaneously healed. He had special braces on his arms and legs. The crutches on his arms were only about 10 inches long, so for all of his life he walked on all 4s like an animal. I estimate he was older than 50 years old. That day, he had a true and powerful encounter with Jesus and was made 100% whole.

I could tell you of similar encounters with Jesus in my own life that changed me, healed me and set me free.

1Th 1:5 For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.

In our churches today so many enticing words, and very little power. A poor representation of God’s Kingdom and our King.
