Banana Harvest 1 Tree and some rice or bread feed 100 people
The banana is one of the most perfect foods for nutrition.

Three days ago I harvested bananas and made a short video. Note to myself to sharpen my blade for next video. Harvesting what the locals call turon banana.
These bananas require cooking. This banana is sometimes fried, boiled, put in soups. For children and adults, roasting them on a stick over an open fire. Usually they are rolled in sugar or molasses and cooked until tender.
This one tree will have over 100 bananas.
The banana tree will only produce once and then it is cut down. The tree trunk is used to feed pigs or other livestock. Nothing goes to waste.
As you will see all around the tree I just cut down, there are four new trees coming up. Some of these shoots can be separated and replanted in another location. In our climate, growing bananas really requires no special attention.
