LOVE Evangelist Series
I have been asked to go to the Visayas to train some young people on evangelism. Soon we will hold evangelistic crusades throughout the Visayas.
What is the most important thing to make you successful in winning souls?
LOVE!
2Co 6:6 By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,
1Pe 1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
“Unfeigned Love”
This is sincere love! You either have it or you don’t! This kind of love cannot be faked or manufactured. This love does not originate with us! This is you and I, loving people with God’s Love. The Love of God poured out through us to other people.
The Bible tells is that Jesus was not handsome. He had no earthly qualities that attracted people to Him. He wasn’t super tall, super athletic, super in any earthly way. But Jesus was the perfect expression of the Love of God.
Isa 53:2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
There was one thing that brought people to Jesus! Love unfeigned!
If you or I ever plan on winning a harvest of souls for the Kingdom of God, it is imperative that we obtain this Love!
Freely you receive so freely give! Whatever we give, we have to receive first. You cannot give what you don’t have. For a person to give Love, a person first has to receive love. We have to have the experience of God’s Love. Once we have experienced this Love we have something to give to others.
Do you weep and cry for the lost?

The burden for the lost is the burden of the Lord. If we really want to win a harvest we must obtain this love. If there is love there will be proof. Sincere love always has action!
“God so loved the world, He gave (action), His only begotten Son.”
2Co 5:20 “Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.”
To be a true Ambassador of the King, we must be like Him and in this case love like He loves.
Unfeigned Love will:
- Lose sleep to pray or intercede for the lost.
- Spend your time reaching the lost by telling others the Gospel message.
- Will spend your hard earned money on propagating the Gospel
- Will move you to action.
Why would anyone stop to listen to us?
There are so many trying to get others to listen, why listen to us?
Love sincere. Not fake!

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Very inspiring words of the subject of Love @mhm-philippines To love the way God loves is a challenge to us humans , because as you have written, "It does not originate with us." Unfeigned, unconditional love is something we need to pray for regularly because our selfish ways take over all too easily. Thank you for sharing these words of wisdom with us especially the scripture in 1 Cor.13 The world has distorted views on the subject of love which is often based on what's in it for us if we invest our love into someone or something? I think we forget that love is a choice. It is an action word which requires sacrifice........and this is why we don't see unfeigned love as often as we should. Blessings.
I appreciate and really like your comments. Love is a decision not a feeling. Many feelings come, but it is a decision.
Thank you for reading and commenting! My father was an artist also. He painted on canvas and also on glass! Painting on both sides. On the front you layer towards you, on the back you layer in reverse. Gives a depth to the paintings. He painted the Canadian Rockies as that is where he served in the military. Covered bridges, moose and foxes.

You're very welcome @mhm-philippines I've been meaning to get involved in steemchurch for a while but haven't found the time yet. Your father must be very talented. Painting on glass is something I am familiar with as I used to do a lot of artwork for my husband and his Dad when they owned a signwriting business in New Zealand many years ago. I did many a painting on glass windows and we also did silk screen printing which was interesting. I have friends here in Brisbane who were missionaries in the Philippines and I actually wrote a book about an Australian pastor (called "Out of a Deep Pit") who married a Filipino woman and both spent many years travelling to the Philippines on Missionary work. May the Lord continue to bless and encourage you in your ministry work and family life.
My wife is Filipino and I am from the USA. My wife came from a family that is half Mormon and half Muslim. We live in one of the highest Muslim concentrated areas. We have baptized 7 of the Mormon family. God is bringing in a great harvest. We live very simple lives and have no fences around. God keeps us!
