Food Good, Food plus the Gospel Better! The Gospel Supported by Food, the Best!

A model that can be repeated and implemented throughout the 🇵🇭 Philippines
Two separate but interdependent Ministries

1. Farming for Gospel
2. Feeding for the Gospel

Farming
I have looked extensively in our area for farming options. As Filipino’s mainstay in their diet is rice, a rice farm seems to be a good option. Also banana, corn, mangos, coconut and livestock farms are all great. Farms run by Faithful Christian workers who need jobs. Farms that are also a place of prayer, where God’s prosperity and blessing is upon the works of the hands.

Feeding!

Breakfast:
Most nutritionists agree that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Especially for kids headed for school. It is difficult to concentrate on studies, when your stomach is screaming for food. It is also accepted knowledge that proper nutrition is necessary for cognitive health. For the brain to function properly, a child needs a proper diet.

Prayer:

Every family should be sending their children to school with prayer. Not every child has a parent at home that has a solid walk with Jehovah, so many or even most kids go to school hungry and without prayer.

Teaching about Jesus:

Really the most important goal is to expand the Kingdom of God into the lives of people. If we feed people and don’t tell them about Jesus, we only help them in the short term. If we tell them about Jesus and feed them, our help is an eternal help. Imagine kids that we will see in heaven, having their names written in the Lamb’s Book of Life now. This is what brings tears to my eyes! Children really helped! Spirit, soul and body! Hallelujah!

Growing the next generation of Christian leaders, by giving young people a venue to teach these children about Jesus. So many you Christians, even some straight out of bible college, hungry to do something for Jesus. If we were feeding these kids 5 days a week, we could have a rotation of young ministry, that would teach these kids each morning. Giving the young minister a place to learn and to grow under our oversight.

Worship

Sending the kids to school with a joyful heart, will produce good students. Many of the young and older ministers play guitar. Along with a message from the Bible some song! Worship! The entire neighborhood would hear the Joy of the Lord ringing from the from the Steem Church Feeding Center.Jesus will be lifted up and He will draw all men to Himself.

A full breakfast meal for the body, Spirit and soul.

Reaching the parents through the children.

As a parent, I am more blessed if you bless my child, than if you blessed me personally. I would value a person and esteem them highly, that was a blessing to my children. Many of these children are unchurched or following a way other than Jesus.
1Ti 2:5 “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;”

It has been our experience that people will let their kids come and hear about Jesus, even if their own beliefs are different. In our outreaches, we may have 80 kids, but each week, more pare to are coming and also hearing the Gospel message.

Just in my neighborhood, I can see this growing to over 400 children fed and sent to school with eve Joy of the Lord each school day.

In short time this would produce a need! A need for a local church to support the spiritual health of the new converts.

This is my humble submission to this fantastic initiative of expanding the Steem Church, implementing Steem Church Farms and funding using the block chain and Steem Dollars for the glory of God.

Mat 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
