STEECHURCH: Called to do his will.

in #steemchurch5 years ago

We are called to do God's will and we do not accept it, so many people who exist in this world and we always ask ourselves why God just called us to serve Him and plant a ministry in our lives. Many of us do not accept it and others want that purpose fulfilled quickly in our lives.

As an example we have Abraham father of nations.

Genesis 12 New Living Translation (NTV)
Abram's Call
12 The Lord had said to Abram, "Leave your country and your relatives and your father's family, and go to the land that I will show you. 2 I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others. 3 I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse those who treat you with contempt. All the families of the earth shall be blessed through you.

Abraham was a man whom God used in a great way, he did not disobey the call that God gave him the advance in faith and believing in the word that God gave him. The people followed him because God's protection and trust was upon him and the people could see him. He was a great leader and Pastor who knew how to lead a people to new lands patiently awaiting God's commands for his people by being a faithful man who helped his people when God's answers were slow to arrive.

We must learn to have faith that if God called us to that ministry we must trust because for God we are able to know how to carry out that ministry that is not with our forces are with those of God. Not making decisions on our own we must wait for God's answers to take the next step because while God is guiding us we will see God's answers in our lives. in order to have ministries you need to be passed through the fire the tests are necessary and Abraham lived them God proved it by asking him to give his son his inheritance, If Abraham for love of God gave God his son that remains for us when God asks us for more faithfulness and more understanding.

The Prophet Jonas

Jonah 1 Translation in current language (TLA)
Jonah disobeys God
1 One day, a man named Jonah the son of Amitai received a message from God: 2 "Arise, go to the great city of Nineveh and tell them that I have seen how wicked they are!
3 But instead of going to Nineveh, Jonah decided to go as far as he could, to a place where God could not find him. He reached the port of Joppa and found a ship that was about to leave. He paid his fare and boarded, happy to go as far away from God as possible.
4 When they were already at sea, God sent a very strong wind that soon turned into a terrible storm. The ship was about to break into pieces.

Jonas was a man to whom God gave a tremendous ministry as a prophet, but when God called Jonas he disobeyed God's command he decided to go away to avoid God's call. Jonas got on a boat where many people because of jonas had to face a great storm because jonas provoked the wrath of God for their disobedience and the fishermen the people on the boat preferred to throw jonas off the boat so they would not die, God punishes him by allowing a big fish to swallow him so that jonas would learn.

These things happen in our lives God calls us as prophetic, evangelistic, teachers and we prefer to go out into the world and avoid God's call. We disobey so much that we go through strong processes and lament over it, but they are consequences we could have avoided if we obeyed God's word but the beauty of it all is that God loves us and gives us so many opportunities to repent of our sins and run for His protection.

The Bible makes it clear that to live the will of God we will have to be willing to face challenges. Sometimes, it will be necessary to renounce our comfort, our mimes, in short, renounce our wills.
