At SteemChurch we learn Justice and Equity

In order to achieve the peace that we all want as a country, we need justice, and to obtain it requires wisdom. When justice is applied, it magnifies a nation and we all want our countries to be magnified by the Lord, we must seek justice and apply it in our day to day. However, in order to achieve justice in our country, more than one generation is needed. For example: Samuel was the first prophet, an exceptional man: he was born to Ana, a sterile woman, his life was a miracle, although his children did not become like him; his excellent example did not manage to pass the next generation. If we really want a country with justice and peace, we need to start each one with our own house. In fact, I can say that in the village of Israel, on the Sabbath the children used to gather around the table with their father, who taught them the law and the customs of life according to the ordinances of God. It is not only a matter of guiding a generation but of transcending historically. We must give continuity to good example, besides always praying so that our children receive justice and peace in our house and in this way they can transmit it to their peers and neighbor.

We can understand as justice the moral principle that inclines to action and judgment respecting the truth at all times and giving each one what he deserves.

Proverbs 14:34:
Justice magnifies the nation; But sin is an affront to the nations. Justice is the pride of a nation; Sin is your shame.

1 Samuel 8: 1-3:
It happened that Samuel having grown old, he put his sons by judges over Israel. And the name of his firstborn son >was Joel, and the name of the second, Abijah; and they were judges in Beersheba. But the children did not walk in the >ways of their father, before they turned after greed, allowing themselves to be bribed and perverting the right.

In order for justice and peace to reign, laws, norms and ordinances that are enforced are needed. Many people think that the improvement of a country depends on the government, but thinking in this way does not assume our responsibility because the laws must be fulfilled by all. Pray for whole people to show us the way forward. We have to be right people, although perhaps not perfect. We got used as we have seen in others to do wrong things in different contexts, from sneaking in a row to try to enter a place first to pass a red light because we hurry. Only when we count generations, laws, ordinances and people, we will obtain the country we desire, because God enhances a nation through its justice.

Exodus 18: 20-21:
And teach them ordinances and laws, and show them the way by which they should walk, and what they are to do. >Moreover, choose from among all the people men of virtue, God-fearing, real men, who hate greed; and put them over >the town by heads of thousands, hundreds, fifty and ten.

We all need to be guided and guided and to be able to give good advice we must have wisdom. Obedience is not only top-down, that is, the obedience that a son owes his father or an employee to his boss, for example: If a collaborator or employee of yours is right and you obey, that speaks well of your level of wisdom because you are listening to someone who is not your authority, but who has the necessary knowledge and the reason you are looking to be wise. Even a son could advise his own Father.

Proverbs 11:14: Where there is no wise direction, the people will fall; But in the multitude of counselors there is safety.

Solomon, a king full of wisdom, knew that his kingly aspect also made him a servant and this kind of attitude pleased God so much that it caught his attention. More than being a ruler, he was a great servant and this is admirable in a king. Jesus, the King of kings, and Lord of Lords, also knew that he came to serve and not to be served. That is why we must pray that the people in eminence, leaders and rulers receive wisdom from heaven, are inclined to work for the benefit of their people and while we pray for them, we as citizens must do what is ours, do justice. Solomon asked God for wisdom and it was given to him. It is so beautiful to know that when we do what is right and what is good, God acts according to our words. God gave Solomon what he asked for and blessed him abundantly.

1 Kings 3: 7-14:
Now therefore, O LORD my God, you have made me your servant a king instead of David my father; and I am young, >and I do not know how to enter or leave. And your servant is in the midst of your people whom you have chosen; a >large town, which can not be counted or numbered by its multitude. Give, then, to your servant an understanding >heart to judge your people, and to discern between good and bad; because who can govern this your great people? >And it pleased the Lord that Solomon should ask this. And God said to him, Because you have asked for this, and you >have not asked for many days for yourself, nor have you asked for riches for yourself, nor asked for the life of your >enemies, but have asked for your intelligence to hear judgment, behold, I have done according to your words; Behold, I >have given you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has not been another like you before you, and after you >will rise another like you. And I have also given you the things you did not ask for, riches and glory, so that among kings >there is none like you in all your days. And if you walk in my ways, keeping my statutes and my commandments, as >David your father walked, I will prolong your days.

Solomon is the protagonist of one of the most fascinating stories written in the Bible, and it is a case of daily life between two women, two mothers who at that time were engaged in prostitution and fought for a baby. I can emphasize that in the time of this wise king, who knew how to resolve this great conflict, there was no discrimination and everyone had access to justice. Let us pray to God so that in our country we operate efficiently our system of justice.

Our countries cry for justice, for peace and the effort of all its citizens for the common good. Let us all be united to the Lord: "Lord, we thank you for this beautiful country and we cry with all our heart that your justice be applied to all, that You be our only counselor and govern through our authorities. Father, our country needs you, that's why we declare you Lord of Venezuela, of Ghana of Nigeria and of the world. "

1Kings 3: 16-28:
At that time two harlots, came to the king, and stood before him. And one of them said: Oh, my lord! Me and this >woman died in the same house, and I gave birth while she was in the house with her. It happened on the third day after >I gave birth, that she also gave birth, and we died together; no one from outside was at home, but we were both in the >house. And one night the son of this woman died, because she lay down on him. And she arose at midnight and took >my son from beside me, while I was your servant sleeping, and put him by his side, and put my dead son beside me. >And when I woke up at dawn to breastfeed my son, I was dead; but I observed it in the morning, and I saw that it was >not my son, the one I had given birth to. Then the other woman said: No; my son is the one who lives, and your son is >the dead one. And the other one said again: No; Your son is the dead one, and my son is the one who lives. Thus they >spoke in front of the king. The king then said: This says: My son is the one who lives, and your son is the dead one; and >the other says: No, but yours is the dead one, and my son is the one who lives. And the king said: Bring me a sword. >And they brought a sword to the king. Immediately the king said: Split the living child by half, and give half to one, and >the other half to the other. Then the woman whose son was alive, spoke to the king (because his bowels were moved >by his son), and said: Ah, my lord! Give this child the living child, and do not kill him. But the other said: Neither me nor >you; split it Then the king answered and said: Give to her the living child, and do not kill him; She is her mother. And all >Israel heard that judgment which the king had given; and they feared the king, because they saw that there was in him >the wisdom of God to judge.

Romans 13-3-6:
For the magistrates are not to fear the good, but the evil. Would you have no fear of authority? Do good, and you will >have praise of it; because he is God's servant for your good. But if you do the wrong, fear; for not in vain does he bear >the sword, for he is a servant of God, an avenger to punish him who does evil. Therefore it is necessary to be subject, >not only because of punishment, but also because of conscience. For this is why you also pay the tributes, because >they are servants of God who continuously attend to this very thing.
