We must admit that the right decisions are made first in the family because the decision to serve God is made as a family.

Circumstances and the society that surrounds us do not invite us to choose a complete relationship with God. In today's society, God is not invoked in ethical and moral decisions. The man is carried away by his simple humanistic values ​​that rest in the modalities of the moment. And every day we see what happens.

Today, our society needs a head of family who, in their homes, has resolved to serve God. Heads of families that, despite the growing wave of sin, decided to keep the precepts of the Covenant. Heads of families who decidedly want God's plan for their family.

"... I and my house will serve the Lord" (Joshua 24:15). In our religious communities, we need heads of families who, like Joshua, will make the decided and convinced decision of the teachings of the Word of God. Fathers and mothers who will guide their children in the fear of God and in true worship.

Home is truly the place to begin the true spiritual awakening in our religious communities. If there is to be a change in society and in our churches, this change must begin within our families.

This is why each parent makes the firm determination to serve God first, to make God and the Bible the basis of relationships and education in their homes. It is for each father to meet each morning and evening of his family to pray and read the Word of God. It is still a question for each father, not only to send the children to the Church, but to accompany them; showing by his example the importance of the appointments that God gives to his people.
