DIFFERENT TYPES OF LOVE
Good day Parishioners, hope you all are having great time here? I want to talk about a popular and nice topic here which have been written in diverse ways. The title is LOVE

WHAT IS LOVE? Love is the indepth feeling you have for a person, whether male to female. Love can come in different ways but the most important is to love. We all know that Love talks about Love because the Bible claims that love is the greatest of all commandments
Love describes God Himself because "God is love". So If you claim not to love anyone, then It means you don't love God Himself.
I will be listing four types of love here. They are;
1 EROS: This is also called Erotic love. It is a sexually type of love, this type of love should be found mostly among couples in marriage. This love cannot be seperated because that is what we bring in children. Erotic love has its own godly fulfilment in a legal marriage that is between a man and his woman(Matthew 19:5)
It is this sexual intimacy in marriage that makes the bond of relationship strong.
2 PHILEO: This is called Friendship/Brotherly love. This type of love is common among friends who shows concern among themselves. This should be among couples too. An example of this is also found in the life of David and Jonathan in 1Samuel 18:1-3. This is a love of sharing, communicating with each other.
3 STORGE: This is an affectionate love shown to people, couples etc. In love, there should be care and concern among each other. This kind of love must be shown practically not just by word of mouth alone but by action also. Even when there is challenges or sufferings with both partner, this type of love should bind them together and care for themselves.

4 AGAPE: This is a sacrificial love and this actually describes God's love for us by sacrificing His only Son(Jesus Christ) to die for our sins (John 3:16). His love is demonstrated for us that even though we were still sinners, He died for us (Romans 5:8). As Christians, we must show this kind of love to God by serving Him wholeheartedly and with sacrifice give all to Him.
IN CONCLUSION
Among all the types of love, let us endeavour to act on the four types of love because they are very important to us and to God

Well said Sister! Only the love of God is able to withstand the number of mistakes that humans make daily, only that love could nail Jesus on the cross to save the rest. Let's live in that kind of love, without protagonism, a sacrificial love.
