A GOOD HEART V/S A BAD HEART.... WHERE DO YOU STAND?

"A good heart and a bad heart,"...... Where do you stand, do you side with good heart, or bad heart? I have been moved by the spirit to put the two on scale.

A good heart always seek good things for his neighbour, but a bad heart always want bad things to happen to his neighbour. A bad heart tends to be happy when his neighbour is in troubles.

Someone who has a good heart sees what is good for him as also good for others too. Thus, he is always willing to share any good opportunity with his neighbour, but someone with bad heart does not see things in that way.

A good heart personality always love to see how possible he can help others out of their sentiment, sorrow or troubles. A bad heart personality hear or sees the problems and laugh.

A person with good heart share little money with others who in poverty or in financial crisis. A person with bad heart sees their neighbours in dare need and teases them for not having.

A person with good heart love to share little food he has with people who are starving. A person with bad heart eat and leave the leftover, and early morning dump it in his dustbin.

A person with good heart love donating his surplus garment in his trunk that is not used to people who are not having, but a person with bad heart; because of greediness will keep for it to destroy.

A person with good heart loves to receive visitors who are travelling and need some place to lay their head. A person with bad heart will deny these visitors, by saying that there is no space for you.

Showing kindness and hospitality become the hobbies of people who have good heart. The good heart people love to always share and donate the little one to people who are less endowed. With the bad heart people, they always think that most people are possessed with bad spirit and therefore can use their items donated to them as a benchmark to ruin their lives.

A person with good heart do not fear to lose their food, money, close, time, jewelleries or property on people who are less privilege on these items. But, a person who has bad heart put his trust in these material things, as if they can save his life.

A person with good heart seeks to help at all times, no matter whether rain or sun shine, no matter the hard times, no matter the discouragement from others. They stand firm but not much rigid to their decisions. They stand for the truth and seek justice for all.

The parable of Jesus Christ about a person with good heart(The good Samaritan).

In Luke 10:30-35, Jesus Christ narrated a parable about "A man who was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among robbers, who stripped him and beat him and departed, leaving him half dead. Now by chance a priest was going down the road, and when he saw him he passed by on the other side. So likewise a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. " But a Samaritan, as he journeyed, came to where he was, and when he saw him, he had compassion. "He went to him abd bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he set him on his own animal and brought him to an inn and took care of him."And the next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper, saying, " Take care of him, and what ever more you spend, I will repay you when I come back."

So, Jesus Christ asked his Disciples; which of the three proved to be neighbour to the man who fell among the robbers? They said to Jesus Christ that is the one who showed mercies to the man(The good Samaritan). And Jesus said to them, "you go and do the same thing. In 1John 4:7, we are taught that we should love our neighbour as ourselves, for love is from God. Because is God who first loved us by given his only begotten Son for us as a sacrifice for our sins. So, what will a man get if he possesses a bad heart that cannot show love and caring?

Three basic things that to me, I have studied about "The Good Samaritan:"

• To show love to one another
• To be caring to one another
• To show compassion to one another
  As Christians, these three things should not be eliminated from our lives. We should consistently to practise them everyday, and I tell you your blessings are awaiting you.
