For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve, Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must must be brought before Caesar: and, lo God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.
Wherefore, Sirs, be of a good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me."

Who told you that the journey would be easy or the road would be smooth? The trials, troubles or temptation will ignite, but in all things God being our refuge we are more than a conquerer, therefore the need to cheer ourselves up in case we be in such situations.

Apostle Paul and some of the disciples being ambassadors and promoter of Christ, through their apostolic work nearly got lost on the Sea of Adria. It was through this that Paul was admonishing his people that they believe him and God that the troubles would come, but they should cheer themselves up.

Paul saw that to be a faithful and truthful Christian, you must pass through a lot of temptations, and if it happens, do not be discourage or lose hope but continue to intensify your Christian relationship with God. It is even through trials that makes you become steadfast and strong in Christ Jesus. So as numerous trials that may come your way, you must cheer your self up, otherwise you may give up in your religious believe or doctrine.

Many troubles do occur in our lives, some are debts, some poverty, some are sickness, some are family issue. Sometimes you may decide to commit suicide or give up your live. But in all things, Christ is our comforter, hence the need to cheer yourself up.

The Israelites passed through a lot of trials in the hands of Egyptians for forty days and forty nights. Upon all the troubles in the hands of the Egyptians, they follow God since they knew that it is only God who can save them and cheer them up. In Exodus 14:13-14, Moses said unto the people, "Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you today: for the Egyptians whom you have seen tody, you shall see them againg no more for ever.
The LORD shall fight for you, and you hold your peace."
