Have The Mindset Of Humility In All Things As Christ Jesus Portrayed To Us.

Brothers and Sisters in Christ, things that define our humility as Children of God are our behavior we put up with our neighbouring communities. Our speaking, our actions, our movement for the public view of our true identities and characters.

As we all know, Christians are the world graphic that people point their fingers on us and read our various characters possessed by us. Wherever we go the satellites have been connected to capture our true character to be published.

Due to this Christians must seen with much humility that reflect that of the Jesus Christ humility as the book of Philippians bear witness to Christ's humility:

"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage."(Philippians 2:3-6 NIV)

In our relationship with others as Christians how is our humility viewed. To some people, their wealth rules them to the extent that they do not give any respect to their elders because they are wealth among the members of the family, society or the community they are living with. Many people also think that they have powers that guide and protect them in everything do or wherever they go. So, when they speak in their communities, even if what they say do not hold water, none of the members of the community can refute it. Such people are power drunk and autocratic to the point that they would always want to shutdown the mouth of their subordinates.

The question is what benefit will a man gain from all the things he/she spent his whole life to acquire and loses his soul for salvation in the last day? The simple answer is that there is nothing to achieve out of our toil and arrogance in such for powers than been humble to have the salvation Jesus Christ have prepared for us.

Jesus Christ is our perfect example of humility as I once mentioned in one of my posts. In as much as we meditate and picture his whole life, it gives us a clue to stay humble in all sphere of life. For humility cut across everywhere in Christian lives. Christians humility must be shown in their love for others, it is shown in their happiness for others, it is shown in their faith for the Lord. Irrespective of their wealth, Christians who are humble must be shown in their actions; the way they talk and treat others who are below standards. Irrespective of their positions, Christians who are humble are reveals in terms of how and manner they treat their subordinates, they do not use their positions to scare them, but they come to their level and treat all persons equally.

We should therefore remember that we will not continue live on this earth forever and ever, by all means our flesh would be perish one day, we should strive to live a life that is expected by Christ Jesus, and one of them is humility. One of the greatest character every believer should search for and demonstrate in his or her life. Thank you for your time you will be with this post.
