Beloved in Christ our love for God should always be strengthened, it should be like a flame of fire that is unquenchable. It should grow and mature daily as our vines grow and bear more fruits for our likeness. We can never be separated from our Lord God, as the branches of the vine cannot be separated from the main stem and survive, likewise, it may fall and die because of lack of nourishment. We would be made so like the branches of the vine that have fallen, due to wind or great storm, our food which is the word of God always keep us fed and protected from the Devil. So if we fall apart from the word of God, the Devil prey on us as his enemies.

and store up my commands within you,

and if you look for it as for silver
and search for it as for hidden treasure,

We will continue to remain in our Lord God if we keep his words in our hearts a reflect them in our lives. There are so many moral benefits that we are going to get upon obeying the words of God. Let us consider it in this way, like a child who always obey the instructions from his parent, this child benefits from getting all his needs from his parents because he obeyed his parents. It would be even difficult for his parents to shout on him, even if they do not have what the child is demanding at that moment, the parents would find a nice way of cooling his heart to take time so that at appropriate time they fulfill his wish.
Our Lord God the same kind of love for us as our parents, He is even more caring than our parents. He take keen interest of our need by providing them for us if only we diligently seek him, like the story of an obedient child and his parents. He guides all our ways, save us accident, He provides us with jobs, He obeys our wombs and give us children and many other benefits that we may think of. God gives us a long lasting lives if we obey his words. He said, call me at the difficult times and I will listen and rescue you from all dangers. Let us commit to do the will of God all the time and our lives will be a blessing.
