THE WORK LOAD IS HEAVY, YOU CANNOT DO IT ALONE!!!

God created every thing in an orderly manner. He understands the reason why He created every creature in pairs. He saw that the Man(Adam) will need a helper, that is why He created Eve to support Adam.

"And the LORD God said, it is not good that the man should be alone, I will make him an help meet for him."(Genesis 2:18)

In human society we have division of labour, so that everybody in the community will have equal share of work doing. That is what is employed in every work place or institution. Every department has a unique work scheduled which may be different from the other departments. Because "wisdom is not in the mind of only one person." We have collaboration of ideas that are put together to achieve a common goal.

God has appointed us as leaders in our churches, and various institutions to lead his people or the congregation to the promising land. The task for a leader is lead in all sphere and manners of activities that would be carried out in that institution. In the church there are so many segments or departments headed by individual personality. This is where the division of labour comes in. The Officiating Minister being the main boss of the hierarchy of all the organisations in the church, sees that the work load is heavy, so he has appointed some people to help him. But, some leaders will feel reluctant to delegate other people to help them in their, they will instead work alone.

"Thou wilt surely wear away, both thou, and this people that is with thee: for this thing is too heavy for thee; thou art not able to perform it thyself alone."(Exodus 18:18)

All this happened when Moses alone stood on his feet to judge problems between his people, from morning to evening. About millions of people cases are judged by Moses alone, so he didn't have time to rest. Moses's father in-law saw the situation to be hurting, so he approached Moses and gave him some strategy to be used in order to release tension. And this is the strategy: "that Moses should look for men who are strong and fear God, he should also divide his people who have cases; some into thousands, some into hundreds, some into fifty and some into tens. And place each of the people he had selected at each group, so that they will judge minor cases. But, all the major cases should be brought to Moses for him to judge." Moses applied this strategy and it worked perfectly for him, as his father's in-law showed him. This is a perfect division of labour that Moses devised for his people to have equal share of work.

Beloved in Christ, why do you still hold the view that you can complete all the varieties of task alone, whiles we have many people in your institution not working? Giving out some of the work to some people in your institution will help you to attend to more important task. Select the competent among people to do the work. Some people are not doing anything, because you the leader has not taught them, so teach them and allow them to do the work.

Some leaders think that they have all the wisdom and powers to do all things. This reminds me of the story of the "Spider and the Wisdom Pot." Spider thought that he had all the wisdom in the world being carried in the pot. In the cause of climbing the tree with the wisdom, he placed the pot on his stomach thinking that he was doing what is right. Not knowing that he has left some of the wisdom on the world. Someone hiding somewhere taught him that, why don't you place the pot at your back so that the climbing of the tree become easy for you? Here, he remembered that he could't gathered all the wisdom in the world, so he became annoyed and left the pot to fell down broken. And through this, wisdom spread for all mankind. This is just a story, we know is God who gives "wisdom," but to some extent it teaches us something that we should not be greedy, but we should allow others too to have a share.

Who will replcae you when you are not there, as you have occupy all the work? We should allow our youth to also under study as us, so that when we are no more, what we have left behind will not become new for them. We cannot carry all the load, we should therefore share the work among yoursevelves.
