If you mistakenly leave me in your house with such along with an order not to touch it, there is a high chance I will disobey your order.

My best bet is that if you decide to give me that food for a while week, I won't get tired of it. I never get tired of that food. Trust me, I am a student and most times, that what I survive with.

God's Food Is Praise

The book of Deuteronomy chapter 28 verse 1 says;

Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, My oblation, my food for my offerings made by fire, of a sweet savor unto me, shall ye observe to offer unto me in their due season

In order to reach God in the old testament, there was need to make sacrifices of bulls and Rams just to appreciate God. However after the the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, the means of appreciating God for all the things He has done took another turn.

Now, before the dawn of the new testament, a lot of people made a lot of sacrifice to God. Therefore this tells us that the sacrifices that they made as at then was designed to really make God change His mind towards the..

See for example Solomon. He offered a sacrifice to God which actually cost him much but as it was for God , it was even little to him and God asked to name whatever he wanted and it will be granted to Him.

What about Noah after the flood??. In Genesis chapter 8 vs 20-22, it say;

Then Noah built an altar to the Lord and, taking some of all the clean animals and clean birds, he sacrificed burnt offerings on it.
The Lord smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart: “Never again will I curse the ground because of humans, even though every inclination of the human heart is evil from childhood.
And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done.
“As long as the earth endures,seedtime and harvest,cold and heat,summer and winter,
day and nightwill never cease.”

According to the passage above, it was recorded that the Offering was a "sweet smelling savor" indicating that the offerings were accepted by God. You may want to say He ate the offering.

What does this tell us in essence in the present times?..It only means that we have nothing to offer God than praising and glorifying Him. It is our praise that moves God to doing wonders. It pushes God to pour out His blessing upon us .

This entails in essence what what God requires of us is sacrifices of praise which include;

  • Fruit of our Lips

  • Offering our Bodies

  • Our resources (i.e money)

However, it is important to note here that how we praise Him matters seriously. Flattering God with the words from our mouth goes a long way to making Him stretch His hands of blessing towards you. But we must come praising Him and worshiping in spirit and in truth. It is what we must do genuinely.

Therefore brethren , let's note that God never gets tired of our praises and we must do this continually.

We nothing else to offer to God than our praise.... Praise is how we appreciate God for His blessings and care in our lives

Amazing one here brother OS God is a cherisher of praise and worship, that's why the book of revelations spoke a whole lot about single host of angels, this was further proven when Paul and Silas was freed when they were indicted in prison.
David as well showed this was true when he was always numerously blessed by his praises and worship,
Lucifer was the singing angel before he was cast out if heaven, we however cannot pay God for his lovingkindness, the only thing we can offer is our praises

Thank you brother for your tremendous contribution

Our God is fearful in praise.
There is nothing we can give unto God for His grace and loving kindness upon us. He's delighted in the praise of His people,we just have to keep giving Him praise because that is the only thing we can give unto him and that is His food

Similarly as we respond to our best nourishment at whatever point it so additionally God does. Scarcely any things feel superior to accepting sincere acclaim and gratefulness from another person. God adores it as well. He grins when we offer our worship and thanks to him.

Praise is an indication of devotion, and that is a sweet smelling sacrifice to God. Praise is God-directed, it is the flow of the heart in the direction of God, and it is a spiritual exercise. Jesus revealed that God seeks hose who will worship him (connect with him recognising his supremacy) in spirit and in truth (John 4:23).

John 4:23 KJV
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

Praise not only expresses our spiritual essence in words, it also an expression of God’s truth.

Just as we react to our best food whenever it so also God does. Few things feel better than receiving heartfelt praise and appreciation from someone else. God loves it too. He smiles when we express our adoration and gratitude to him.
The scripture says..
Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise - the fruit of lips that confess his name. Hebrews 13:15 (NIV)

Praising the Lord is not some kind of casual meaningless activity. There is power in praise.1

Psalm 150:1-6 shares the reasons and ways to praise God. It is the last psalm in the entire book and it ends this book on the right note (no pun intended). If the Book of Psalms is about worship, then Psalm 150 reveals to us that in the end of time, we will be praising God.
Psalm 150 ends the Psalter with a call to praise. The word praise is repeated thirteen times in six verses. This psalm is a little introduction to and summary of what real worship is: expressing joyful de light in the presence of God.2

This psalm gives us five reasons to praise God.

FIVE REASONS TO PRAISE GOD

  1. Praise God because of Who He is (Psalm 150:1).

“Hallelujah! Praise God in His sanctuary. Praise Him in His mighty heavens.” (Psalm 150:1, HCSB)

This is the who of praise.

The psalm challenges the worshipper to praise God in the sanctuary. The sanctuary is a place of worship and holiness. God is holy because He is unique and because of Who He is, we spend time worshiping Him. The purpose of worshiping Him in the sanctuary is to declare that God is worth our worship. God is God and we are called to worship Him because He is Who He is. Man is not meant to be worshiped, but God is because He is unique above us.
